The cold air rushed through me like it was a ghost, the wind hit my face leaving my cheeks stained bright pink and my eyes were nearly tearing. I wondered around and so many questions were running through my head. No one was around me, all I could see was snow and a long lonely road leading to who knows where. I kept spinning in circles until I hit the ground covered with snow and lay there for a while.

I opened my eyes to see bright blue skies, hearing birds chirping and the sun shining. I was back to reality. My heart had a small shock and my heart hurt as hell. I got up and rode my bike home. My mother was waiting for me at the dinner table with an upset look on her face. When she saw me, she looked up and a smal tear ran down her cheek. I ran over and hugged her. "Is everything okay mum?" I said. "Your father.. d-died in a car accident." My face went from shocked to nervous to anxious and I didn;t even know what to do with my life anymore. So many mixed emotions. I had never felt this way before. It was now just me and my mother. Our lives will never be the same.
