"Stop!" screamed Blaze and she pulled out a secret knife from her pocket. She opened it and plunged it into my shoulder. I fell to the floor, bleeding and shocked from the pain. My knifes were still in my parents' bodies when I fell to the ground. They fell down next to me, also. I looked up at Blaze, but I didn't have enough blood in my body at the moment to stay conscious. Right before I blacked out, I saw.
Blaze put my mask on me and put her mask on herself. She said, "I'm sorry, Thief."
And that was all I remembered.

I woke up to a familiar scent. It stunk up the air around me with it's horrible fragrance. It smelled of garbage and mold, as did I. I felt a cushiony material underneath me. I opened my eyes to a dim room. I had a bandage on my shoulder. Sitting next to me, fast asleep, was Blaze. I pushed up my arm and nudged her awake.
"What?" she said while opening her eyes. She looked over to me. "Thief! You're awake!" Blaze hugged me, careful of my shoulder.
"Yeah, Blaze, I am. What happened with, you know..." I asked her. She let go of me and looked down.
"I called the police and fled, carrying you on my back, to the hideout. After a few days, I stole a newspaper and saw your parents on the front cover. It said your dad is recovering, but your mom is dead. You stabbed the knife in your dad's left clavicle and your mom straight in the heart. Your dad hit his head when he fell, so he is suffering from total memory loss. He doesn't remember who you are or who he even is."
I took in the information along with all Blaze did for me. "Thanks for bringing me back here and not to the hospital. I didn't want to tell the cops I killed them. I would get into so much trouble. I mean, I thought I was already in trouble with you for doing it. But still knowing all that, I don't regret what I did."
    "What's done is done, Thief."
"Well, thank you for still being my friend even through all of this. It means a lot, especially because you disagreed with my decision."
"No problem. We all do things others may not agree with. I feel that your decisions make up who you are. If that is who you are, who am I to tell you otherwise? I just need to accept it."
I nodded thankfully and then, I got an idea. I got up and walked over to the shelf where our masks were. I grabbed them and handed the smaller one to Blaze. She put it on while I put mine on.
"What are we doing?" she asked me with a questioning smile.
"You and me. We are going to help out the world. And this time, no bodies are going to fall."
"How are we going to 'help out the world'?" she asked me, confused at my sudden determination.
"First, we need to steal some stuff." And with that, I took Blaze's hand and helped her up. I led her to the door.
"Wait, I forgot something," she said. I turned to look at her and before I knew it, her lips were on mine. It was the most beautiful moment of my life. Blaze then pulled her head back from me and said, "Now we can steal some things," and she dragged me out the doorway, my heart beating one hundred miles per hour.
