I’m Amy McCulloch – a girl of many bookish hats! I’m a reading addict, a published author and editorial director for Penguin Random House Children’s in the UK. Suffice to say – books, reading and writing are my passions, which makes Wattpad the perfect home for me. I’m really pleased to share a sample of my debut epic fantasy-adventure novel The Oathbreaker's Shadow, which is the first in a two-book series called THE KNOTS SEQUENCE. The second book, The Shadow's Curse is coming out in July 2014. The books were inspired by my love of travel, my studies of medieval history and my interest in Genghis Khan-era Mongolia, and so they’re full of action, adventure and epic settings. I hope you enjoy!

Canadian readers: The Oathbreaker’s Shadow is published by Doubleday Canada and is out in paperback on April 15, 2014. The Shadow’s Curse will be published in hardback on June 24, 2014.
US readers: The Oathbreaker’s Shadow and The Shadow’s Curse will be coming to the US in early 2015 from Flux books – watch this space!
