Suspicions

Last Time On Anime Academy:

In 2017 on July 14th, my entire family was murdered. My mom and dad were the first to die. My older sister Autumn was next. Then my younger sister Melody." She paused composing herself,

"After that, my three brothers Link, who was five, Mike, who was three to turn four, and Andrew, who was going to turn three that Halloween." Her voice was cracking now, and she bit her lip.

"I was severely injured." Ellie pulled up her shirt a bit to reveal a scar not even an inch above her heart. Gasps echoed throughout the room. "Their deaths are all my fault."

Now:

Everyone around you had wide eyes and open mouths. You were itching to know why, but you didn't want to rush your best friend. Ellie took a deep breath before continuing.

"Earlier that same day, we had offically adopted my brothers. We were walking out of the courthouse when someone attempted to kidnap me. I remember that he had tan skin, brown hair, and sunglasses. One of his front teeth were missing and he was carrying a baseball bat with nails and glass embedded in it. He was with another guy. . . But I don't really remember him. (Y'all can probably guess who. If not, you need to stop reading immediately and get a Hetalia life Do any of us really have a life though??) I stole his bat and knocked him out with it. A man who was with the first ran. I only remember him yelling 'we'll be back, poppet!' In a creepily cheery voice." Everyone is now whispering the same words. You can't quite understand it though.

"En-"

"2-"

"Mom assured me that I was safe, except later, that same man . . .  He was carrying a knife that had blood on it. I managed to run away. At first, I ran to my grandparents house on my dad's side, who lived two blocks away. When I got there. . . Their bodies. I ran to my mom's parents, they lived on the other side of town." She looked . . . Dead. Her eyes had nothing in them.

"I was sent here so I could get away for a while. I work hard to make my sisters proud each and every day. I hope they're proud." Ellie finished her story. There was silence until Alfred spoke up.
"They are proud, dudette!" Arthur quickly shut Alfred up. Ellie gave him a weird look before heading back to you and Diandra. Diandra tried to hug her friend, but Ellie ducked out of her embrace.

"I'm going to spend some time by myself. I'm fine, just leave me alone." She said. As Ellie left, a blue aura spread out around her. The aura helped Ellie part the red seas. (I'm sorry I had to)

You looked sadly after your friend. As Ellie left, you noticed Matthew following after her. Diandra was upset that her friend didn't want a hug. A boy with blonde hair, green eyes, and fuzzy eyebrows walked over and patted Diandra's shoulder.

"It's okay love." He said with a British accent. "Ellie needs some space. That wasn't an easy thing to confess." He assured her. Diandra hugged the boy gently with a smile that seemed forced, making him blush a light shade of pink.

"Thank you Arthur. I'll be okay, though." Diandra sighed.

Everyone eventually walked away except for Alfred. He was shocked. Alfred glanced at you before shaking his head and walking away.

Sorry it's kind of short, but I'm super excited about the next chapter! It's hilarious and I got the idea from Glee! I feel like I should be scared. Later peeps!!
