It was several weeks later. Everything at Hamilton Academy was looking up. Kelly, Autumn, Yasmeine, and Keiora didn't attend the academy anymore due to being taken away from their parents. All was good. One day, you and your friends Ellie and Diandra were on a walk in New York City. It was the weekend, so the city was really busy. Ellie was wearing black jeans, black t-shirt, and her lanyard. Diandra wore a black tank top and black pants. You were wearing a black shirt with black shorts. As you walked, you came to an intersection. The light turned green on your end and you and Diandra walked across the street, Ellie trailing behind because she doesn't walk fast. All of a sudden, you heard Ellie shout.
“Ah!” You swiftly turned around to see Ellie lying on the street, unconscious. A baby blue car quickly speed away.(That's not a hint at alll.)
“Ellie!” You and Diandra pulled Ellie off the street as Diandra called 911. Minutes later, the ambulance had arrived and took you and your friends to the hospital. Soon after arriving, your other friends had come. They swarmed the doctor on Ellie's condition.
“I'm afraid that she's in a coma. We'll call when she wakes up, but there's no guarantee that she will.” The doctor told them.
“Can she at least have a private room?” Matthew asked not looking away from her.
“Not unless you can pay for it.” The doctor replied. Alfred whispered something in the doctor’s ear, which made him jump.
“S-Sorry. O-Of c-course she c-can have h-her own r-room.” The doctor stuttered. He started ordering the nurses around and took Ellie to a private hospital room. It was icy blue and had white snowflake patterns on it. The sheets and furniture were also icy blue.
“Here you go sir. Her custom designed room. Like you asked for.” The doctor said, putting Ellie in the comfy looking hospital bed. How did Alfred afford all of this? You stayed and talked to her until visiting hours were over. Over the next few weeks, you visited after school and talked to Ellie about what she missed. Matthew was there the whole time as her bodyguard. When you came to visit, Matthew would be there. Sometimes he'd be asleep holding a stuffed polar bear. Other times, the polar bear would be on the couch and Matthew would be sitting next to it.
One day, you and Diandra walked in to see Matthew asleep on a chair next to Ellie's bed, fast asleep, holding her hand. As weeks melted into months, life at Hamilton Academy returned to relatively normal, well as normal as it could without Ellie yelling about food or pokemon.
You and Diandra had started hanging out with Alfred and Arthur more often than not. Alfred always tried to cheer you up, while Arthur would make tea in an attempt to cheer Dia up.
Everyone was starting to lose hope after four months had passed. The four of you were visiting her. When Dia whispered something to Matthew.
"Canada, what-she-" was all you were able to make out of their one-sided conversation.
Matthew looked at Ellie, while Dia nodded and stood a ways away with her arms crossed.
"What happened? Who are you?” Ellie asked suddenly bolting upright. You all looked at eachother while poor Mattie looked like he was about to faint.
“We're your friends, (y/n) and Diandra. Do you remember who you are?” Diandra asked her voice shaking a bit. Ellie looked at Diandra, her face blank.
“Of course I do. My name’s Nike.”
Hey guys, Ash here. This is a huge DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUN moment, I know. You're probably wondering who Nike is. Nike is one of my three made up Nordic countries. No, the country's main export is NOT shoes. Nor was the country named after the shoe. Nike is the Greek Goddess of Victory. Next chapter, you'll learn Nike’s past in her POV (mostly)
Will they be able to make an excuse for Ellie? Will they be forced to tell you their secret? Will Ellie ever remember? I don't know, but stay tuned for next chapter. Then, hopefully we'll all find out. See ya peeps!!
