Liz POV:

On the way to the park all I could think about was why the hell was Mackenzie acting like that. She knew I liked Hadley. I snapped out I my thoughts when I saw that I ha already drove to the park and was just sitting in my car. I looked up and saw Hadley standing in front of my car looking at me confused. I put my hand up and grabbed my sketch pad and pencils to draw. I got out the car and walked up to Hadley. He looked down at me and smile as he grabbed my hand and brought me to the swing sets. Surprisingly no one was here today. He grabbed all the things he needed from his bag and looked at me as I stood there.

"You gonna pose for me now sweet cheeks?" He jokes.

"Oh my gosh, never say that again." I laugh.

"Haha alright, now go do something." He smiles. I look at him and then to the swing sets. I look once at him again then take off for the swings. I've always had a love for swings since I was little it made me feel free and happy. I could never be upset swinging on them, that's why we have one in our backyard. It was decorated in vines and flowers, the way I loved it.

Hadley's POV

I looked up at Elizabeth as I was starting to draw her figure when I noticed how destructed and happy she was while she was swinging. Her hair was flowing behind her then would fly back into the front of her face and she would smile and laugh. I could tell she was thinking of childhood memories.

"You know it's not polite to stare." She jokes. I look up at her and stick my tongue out at her. She laughs once again and blows a raspberry. I make a disgusted face and look back down at my sketch pad to see that I'm almost done. I soon finish up the drawing and I'm actually quite proud of it. I look up at Liz and tell her that I'm done.

"Let me see! Let me see!" She says as she jumps off the swing set.

"Nope! You have to wait until it's due to see it." I say smirking.

"Fine." She huffs while crossing her arms over her chest.

"Your turn." I say standing up and grabbing the soccer ball. I set the ball down and start kicking it against the wall on the side of a building. As I'm kicking I can see Liz focusing really closely on her drawing, I could tell she was trying to get every single detail of it. After about an hour, she puts her sketch pad down and starts to stretch.

"Done!" She says standing up.

"Awesome! Let me see!" I say running over to her.

"Nope, you can't see till it's due." She says sticking her tongue out.

"Aw c'mon!" I say.

"Payback hurts huh?" She laughs.

"Oh shut up." I say laughing.

"Well, imma get going, I need to get ready. Pick me up at let's say 7:30?" She asks.

"Sure! See you then." I smile.

Liz POV

I got home and ran straight to the bathroom to get ready. I looked at my phone to see that I had about an hour. I can do this. I thought. I turned the water for the shower on then ran to my room and got my outfit out. It was a mint blue shirt with some jeans I was going to tuck it into, with flats and a sweater. After I got it out I ran back to the bathroom and got my make-up and straightener out, then I hoped into the shower. I finished with 30 minutes to spare then ran to my room and put my clothes on. I knew I was running around a lot but I was trying to finish in time. I got back to the bathroom and did my hair then my make-up. I sprayed some perfume on then grabbed my purse, stuffing everything I would need into it. As I was putting on my shoes, I heard the doorbell ring. I knew I had to hurry and answer it before one of the boys did. That would be bad.

"Hi, Hadley, what can I do for you?" I heard my dads voice.

"Oh no." I whispered to myself.

"Well sir, I am here to take Elizabeth out on a date if that's fine with you." He says politely.

"Of course my boy! As long as you get her back here by 10:00, if not then we will have a big problem on out hands." He says sternly.

"Oh daddy! Leave him alone, let's go Had." I smile.

"Bye princess, be safe and call me if you need anything." My dad says before kissing me on top of my head.

"Bye daddy." I smile before walking out the door. We walk down the steps and walk to Hadley's car, once there he helps me in then runs around to the other side.

"You look very beautiful by the way." He says starting the car.

"Aww thank you! You look handsome." I say blushing.

"So, were are we going?" I add.

"Surprise!" He smirks.

"Dang it!" I say sinking into the seat.

"Don't worry, you'll like it." He smiles.

"Alright." I say. After an hour driving I saw we were driving towards Pats of Henderson.

"Omg are you serious?! I love this place!" I says excitedly.

"Told you." He smirks. I loved this place even tho it was only in Lake Charles, but their food was just so good! Their gumbo was my absolute favorite.

"C'mon! Let's go in!" I say hoping out the car, but when I hoped out I was greeted by a lady who looked a lot like Hadley and Hunter.

"Hi! I'm Lynette, Hadley's mom." She smiles.

"Hi Mrs. Lynette! I'm Elizabeth, it's so nice to finally meet you!" I smile giving her a hug. She hugs me back before taking both me and Hadley's hands and bringing us inside.

"I've already got the table inside, by the way Hadley, I had to bring Hunter, he didn't have anywhere else to go tonight." She says apologetically.

"Oh it's fine mom." He smiles.

"Hadley can I talk to you for a sec?" I ask.

"Sure, be right back mom." He says before walking away with me.

"Before you say anything I wanted to say I'm sorry it isn't just me and you. I meant to tell you but I decided to leave it a surprise." He rushes out.

"No no! That's totally fine! I've been dying to meet your mother! It's just Hunter. Are you sure you're ok with him here?" I ask him.

"I guess, I mean as long as he doesn't try anything with you." He says.

"Alright, let's go back in, I don't wanna keep them waiting." I smile before grabbing his hand. He looks down at me and squeezes my hand before he leads us inside.
