~Yuri's Point of View~

I ran away to the garden. I fell down on my knees. "I hate this stupid place. I can't stand this anymore." I clenched my hands tightly.

"You should have ran when you had the chance." Eh? I looked up and saw Subaru. I blinked and stared at him for a second.

"Why did you give me that knife?" I asked suddenly. He started walking away. "Hey!" I stood up and tried to grab him but he turned around. "Stay away! Come one step closer and I'll destroy you! I'll not only break your body but also your mind too." He tore through a rose. White petals floated in the air.

Ooh, pretty. Like confetti.

I had a slight headache and I saw a beautiful woman locked away in a tower like Rapunzel. A boy watched and a silver knife dropped to the ground. The same silver knife Subaru gave me. Does that mean he is the little boy? The pain increased slightly. What's her name? I knew it. Is it...

"Christa..." I said unconsciously. "What do you know about her?" Subaru demanded angrily. He snatched my wrist and held it tightly. I winced. "Subaru... you're hurting me. Let go." He stared at me. "What do you want from me?" A moment passed. "What do you expect from someone as powerless, hideous, and polluted as I am?"

I stared at him. He suddenly pulled me to his chest. "Subaru?" I felt him tense up before he bent down and pulled my hair away from my neck. He bit down. Surprising, I didn't react. I just stood there. He pulled away. "It tastes so sweet." He bit me again.

The bow from my school uniform fluttered down to the ground. "Stop..." I said weakly as I started feeling faint from blood lose. "Shut up and be quiet." He bit me again near my collarbone area. He pulled away. "You asked me why I gave you that knife. I gave it to you so you can stab me with it, should I want you to." I gasped. "But..."

"If you aren't capable of that, use it to end yourself." He stood up to his full height. "You have no right to refuse. In the same way, you can't deny me your blood." He pulled me closer and I closed my eyes tightly. "Good. Be quiet and allow my fangs to enter you. Always." He brushed a strand of hair away and bit me.

I laid down on my bed on my side. I felt the bed dip down. I turned on my side and saw Ayato laying beside me. "A... Ayato?" He kept his eyes closed.

"Don't look at me," he said. "But..." He rolled me over so I was in my previous position. "Quiet." He kept his arm around me and hugged me tightly. "Do not disobey me." I closed my eyes and slept.

I blinked my eyes slightly. My vision was still blurry. Someone was hugging me and I was hugging them. Yui? It was really comfortable and I snuggled closer. I closed my eyes.

Wow. Yui is really tall now. And big. Wait, what!? I opened my eyes. I was hugging... Ayato!!! No way. Aww. His sleeping face so adorable. Wait, what! Stop messing with me, brain!

I struggled in his hug, but he was holding me too tight. He groaned and turned slightly so I was on top of him. "Hey! Wake up Oreo!" He opened his eyes. "Eh?" I struggled a little. "Let me go!" He smirked. "Nah, I think I like this position." I frowned. "Well I don't."

He smirked some more. He flipped us over so he was on top of me. "Do you like this position better then?" I felt my face heat up. He was too close to my face. "No way!" He leaned closer to me and closed his eyes. I froze. Eh??? Was he gonna kiss me? He pressed his lips against mine, and I kissed back on instinct.

Someone knocked on the door. Yui came bursting through the door. "Yur- eh!?" She blushed. "I-I sorry for i-interrupting you." Ayato got off me, and I blushed heavily. "N-no Yu-" Yui ran out of the room, and the door slammed shut.

"This is all your fault!" I yelled at Ayato. "Thanks for the kiss," he said and smirked. He teleported away. "You stupid perverted, sadistic takoyaki lover!" I yelled.

I changed and went outside for a walk. I hummed Kou's favorite song loudly as I walked. I spotted an old building and walked inside. "Hello?" I asked. "Not so loud," a familiar lazy voice said. "Shu?" I saw him sitting down reading a book. "Do you need something?" he asked. "Umm..."

I wanted to tell him about the weird flashbacks and headaches. "I've been having headaches and weird flashbacks recently. For some reason, when I was adopted, I didn't remember anything about my old life. I think... I think that I'm starting to remember."

He lifted his eyes from the book to me. "Really? Alright, come here." His book dropped to the floor and he grabbed me. I fell against his chest, and he pinned me down to the smooth surface in a flash. He slowly brushed away my hair. "What are you doing? Let me go!" I turned my head to the side. He smiled softly and ran his thumb up my exposed neck.

He leaned in and bit down. I winced slightly. He pulled back, slightly shocked. "Your blood has changed. The awakening is at hand. Your blood is different." Blood dripped from the two small holes in my neck caused by him. He wiped it and licked it off his finger. "It's hot and bursting now," he said.

He leaned down and bit me again. I struggled and pushed him away with my hand. He caught it and brought it to his face. "Your neck isn't the only part of you supplied with blood." He pressed his lips against my wrist. "Fresh new blood also flows through your wrists." He leaned against my wrist and closed his eyes. "I can tell, even through your skin. It smells so good."

He opened his eyes. "Don't move," he warned. He bit down, and I flinched. "You have blood of the finest quality. I'll give you that much." He looked at my eyes. "Are you frightened?" he asked. "As if, you pervert!"

He pulled me up and bit me on my shoulder. "Your blood is more delicious than anyone else's. It slaked my every thirst." I stopped resisting because I felt too weak from blood lose. "So this is the awakening ?" I heard him say. "Women are terrifying. I'm all worked up in spite of myself. You're impressive."

He pulled me closer to bite me again. "What do you mean by the awakening? Tell me!" He pulled away from me. "No sacrificial bride has ever survived to the point of awakening." Sacrificial bride? I thought back to the time Yui and I first came here. I remember Ayato mentioning us being sacrificial brides.

"Tell me. What's the real reason I'm here?" He stood and took a few steps back. "He'll answer your question." He turned slightly toward the entrance. "I know you're here." A new voice floated into the room. "You've always been quite perceptive."

A tall man walked in. He had dark green hair and wine red eyes. "This is Richter. Our uncle." I think I saw Richter with the mean purple haired lady in my flashback. Shu grabbed his fallen book and walked away. "Hey! Don't leave me here with a creepy stranger!" I frowned and ran up to him. "Even if I wanted information, I'm never gonna ask him."

Shu didn't say anything, and we walked back to the mansion.

He sat down on a couch and read his book. "Shu~ I'm bored," I said matter of factly. I spotted two swords in a corner. I ran up and grabbed them. I threw one at him. As expected, he caught it.

I rushed at him and thrust the sword at him, but he blocked it. He stood up and we started to duel. Neither of us backed down. Even though he was taller and stronger than me, I matched him in skill.

I grew bored of the silly game I was playing. I unexpectedly kicked the sword out of his hand and caught it. I pointed them both at him, and he backed away.

"Fu fu fu~ Princess-chan is very good with a sword." I turned around and saw the triplets, Ayato, Laito, and Kanato. "Hi." My eyes narrowed suddenly. I felt something change. My head hurt and a name seared through my mind. I let out a painful hiss.

"Cordelia."
