One

"Hurry up or you'll be late I'm not driving you to school again." My mom yells into my room.

"I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying" I hobble to my room with a toothbrush in my mouth. Then I get a text.

Si 🤘: I'm outside

...shit. I quickly look in the mirror see if I look halfway decent. I take the hair it my face and rush downstairs. I kiss my mom on the cheek goodbye as she finishes up lunches for the little ones.

"Oh here's 10 bucks" she grabs my wrist

"Oh ok bye" my back pocket vibrates

Si 🤘: where are you?!
Me: ahhgshsj coming

I run out the house and see the car. Beep beeeep
Simon honks the car and pulls down the window.

"Come one silly." He laughs

I hurry in and feel to top of my head. I'm sweating so much.

"Well come on! Let's go" I smile

He starts the car and we head off. He continues to laugh

"What's so funny?" I struggle to get out

"Your shirts on backwards. I was gonna let you go on but that would be just to rude of me" he giggles

I look to see that my pocket of my shirt was on my back. I take my arms out of my sleeves and twist my shirt around to the front and straighten out my necklace.

"Better?"

"Better."

We get to school and meet up with Nathan. Nothing like my favorite group of people.

"Wow it's already been one week and I'm already failing physics" Nathan huffs

"Haha me to tho" Madeline buds in

"Mad your failing like everything"

"Ah I'll be fine junior year isn't that important right...right?"

"So much to learn so little time Maddie" Nathan shakes his head

We all walk and go are separate ways. Me and Simon one way and the two the other. First class English with Simon. One of my favorite classes because my crush is in there. Aaron. I sit two seats behind him just so I can stare at him. Ugh I could go on about him all day. His perfect brown hair and Hazel eyes. We'll talk occasionally but we've never really said much.

I was daydreaming and someone snapped me out of it all.

"Huh?" I jolt a bit

"Can I borrow a pencil." Aaron turns back to ask:

"Oh.. uh-um sure." I reach into my bag and grab him one "oh and you can keep it"

"Thanks" he smiles

That smile. It could light a whole room. Just the thought of it made me blush. And back to daydreaming I went. But then something else disrupts me.

"Kylee... Kylee!" Simon whispers

"What!"

"I assume you weren-" the bell cuts him off.
We get up from are seats and head his locker.

"What I was saying is I assume you weren't listening so come over tonight to get the notes from class"

"Oh yeah. Thanks" I laugh

I meet up with Nathan to go to my next class which was History. Nathan wasn't in my history class but he was in the class next to me. Since it was the first real week of school we finally got into so work. We needed to partner up for a project. I didn't know anyone in that class except Aaron but I barely knew him. But his beautiful eyes shot right at me. He got up and starts to walk over to me.

"Hey... umm do you want to be my partner" he asks

"Oh I um... sure" I blush

He obviously notice my face getting red. He smiles and puts his hand on the back of his neck. Which was SO adorable may I add.

"Cool" he replies "can I get you number- to text you about the... project obviously" he seemed flustered

"Yeah yeah here " I quickly scribble my number on a piece of paper

"Thanks" he walks back to his seat

I slide down into my seat and but my lip. Aaron asked me to be HIS partner. My stomach got butterflies. I feel like a middle schooler who obsesses over a boy. But I snap out of it so he wouldn't notice my mini freak out. But truly my heart was racing.

The rest of the morning was basically a blurb and after hours at looking at the clock it was lunch. We get a free hour period for lunch. Me and Simon meet up with Maddie and Nathan and we head over to a near pizza place for lunch. While we're waiting for drinks I get a text-

369-###-###: Kylee?
Me: yeah
369-###-###: it's Arron
Me: oh... yeah what's up
369-###-###: I was wondering if you wanted to come over after school tomorrow to start a bit of research for the project
Me: oh yeah sure

"Um Kylee what do you want to drink" Maddie says

"Oh yeah just a water"

"Ok I'll be back with the drinks"

I send some screenshots over it Maddie of Aaron.
She lets out a little squeal then mouths omg.

" what's so shocking" Nathan asks

"Oh nothing just that Kylee has a date tomorrow night" she winks

"Omg it's nothing"

"Ooo Kylee has a date" Nathan says in a tune

"It's nothingggg I swear"
