Seven

As I'm heading out to the car I hear something. No ones around though. I don't actually think anything was there I think I might just be scaring myself. I find his car and look for the blanket in the back. As soon as I get out someone grabs me from behind and screams "rarrr". I let out a bit of a scream. But then I could tell by the voice it was Simon.

"Siiii" I say in a bit of anger

"Sorry just messing with ya" he giggles

He puts me down. I try to turn around but he puts his hands on the car. Forcing my back against the car. We stare for a second. Even in the dark I could see his beautiful green eyes with the stadium lights. I try to shake that thought out of my head. We're never are going to get together. At least that's what it thought.

Simon
We're stuck in a mini staring contest with pure silence. I wanna look away but something is telling me I can't or I shouldn't. This could be it. The moment that could make or break us. I begin to lean in like I got nothing to lose. Even though our friendship is one of the closest things to my heart I had to forget that now. I wanted something... something more.

I start to close my eyes as I get closer and she does the same. I remove one hand from the car and cup her face with my hand. Are lips touch and what started as a peck became a full on kiss.

She begins to heat up in the cheeks a bit but then becomes a bit more relaxed. I try to let go but then she pulls me back in for more. She uses my shirt to pull me in. Seconds later she lets go. She opens her eyes and smiles and blushes like crazy.

She wraps the cover around herself then grabs my arm. We walk back in the game and meet up with Nathan and Maddie once again.

"Where were you two?" Nathan asks as we toss him the keys

"Getting the blanket" Kylee says

"For ten minutes...yeah right" Nathan rolls his eyes then smiles

Kylee smiles as well. Making me blush a bit to.

After the game ended we decided to get some food. We went to a small restaurant nearby. A lot of people were there so we should of choose somewhere else but it's fine it was like are victory meal since we won.

We joke and talked all night then Nathan drove us home. He dropped off Maddie then dropped me and Simon off at his place.

"I'll walk her from here" he says while Nathan drives off

"But who's gonna protect you when you walk home" she laughs

I laugh then I squeeze her hand. She squeezes back. We get to her place then sit on the steps. She places her head on my shoulder. We just sit there in silence but it was ok.

"Can we please do one thing I wanted to do tonight" she looks up and asks

"Sure what is it"

"Watch movies" she mumbles and smiles a bit

We head inside and she grabs pillows and blankets from upstairs and puts them on the couch. We get all situated then turn on a movie.

As the movie went on she came closer to me to cuddle. I wrap my arm around her. I cant believe I'm finally holing her in my arms.

I see her quickly dose off to sleep. I move myself from under her. I quietly walk to the door then leave.

"Yess!" I shout

I get home and flop onto my bed. I get ready for bed and then text Nathan and a couple others in a group chat everything that happened.

Nathan😤✋️: wow getting a blanket is fun after all isn't it

Jonas: woahwoahwoahh things got hot and heavy wow Simon is no longer and a single man

Brett: awe I'm proud

Noah: yeah congrats bro

I think I can confirm this was the best night of my life.
