Chapter 1

Justin's POV:

I wake up to the sound of my dad yelling at me to come downstairs. I roll over and grab my phone off the nightstand. The time reads 9:00 A.M so I get out of my cozy bed and slowly make my way down the stairs. My dad is sitting at the table with a cup of coffee in his hand and motions for me to sit down. I slowly sit down, making sure there is plenty of distance between us.
Dad-"d"
Justin-"j"
D-"so I have some news.. he says nonchalantly"
J- "oh? And what might this news be that you had to wake me up before noon on a Saturday morning?"
Dad- "well you know that I got a big promotion at work...and that involves some changes that will be affecting you and I both."
J- "oh?"
D- "we are moving to Maryland...next Saturday"
J- "does that mean I don't have to go to school this week? If so then I'm perfectly fine with this"
D-"no you don't have to go to school this week, we are flying down to Maryland tomorrow so we can find a house"
I just smile to myself and walk upstairs. all I can think about is moving to a new school and getting out of the hell hole that was Minnesota. there are so many bad memories that I want to stay in the past and moving to Maryland would be an amazing fresh start, not to mention all the hot new guys that will be there too. ;)
I don't start packing just yet because thinking of moving to a new place sends butterflies to my stomach, not the bad kind that you get when you're about to present an important speech or going on your first date but the kind that you get when you're excited for something or are about to be kissed by your boyfriend who is super cute and attractive. I need this in my life right now. I want to go to school like a normal kid and have no one know who I am or what I've done, I'm a complete mystery to them and I love that.
I'm also excited for my dad, he needs this move too. my mother and him just got done with a divorce, in the end I got him and my mom got Danny. I was kinda happy when I learned that I would be living with my dad, I've always been closer to him and he's always supported me no matter what was going on in my life. I pack a suitcase real quick, lay down, and shut my eyes knowing tomorrow was a good day. tomorrow I will be on a flight to Maryland, my new home :)
