Ryan's P.O.V

I walked to Brendon's house counting each leaf on the concrete. I haven't been able to focus much lately. I got closer to Brendon's house, the tingly feeling in my stomach I've felt for weeks is back. I slowly walked up to the door and knocked on it.
"Hey Ryan!" Brendon said, greeting me with a cheesy smile.
"Hey." I said, playing with the sleeve of my hoodie. "So, like..."
"I have, like, a thousand movies picked out for us. I'm thoroughly prepared," Brendon said, opening the door wide to let me in. "Come on in to Casa Urie."
"That's dumb," I said, but I was smiling anyways. God. He was so cute, but no homo,
I'm not gay.
"I know you love it, Ry." Brendon nudged me and then beckoned for me to follow him into his house.

Around half an hour later we're watching some crappy movie and some popcorn Brendon might've burned in the microwave. I just couldn't focus on the movie though. And that's when our eyes meet.
"Ry, you're staring," Brendon said, and I blinked. I hadn't even realized I'd been looking at him.
"No, I'm not," I muttered, blushing and averting my gaze to the TV.
"You are, you love me," Brendon sang, resting his head on my shoulder. "I know you do."
"I do not."
"You do."
"I do not!"
"You do!"
I pressed my lips together and looked down at Brendon, who was grinning like a fool.
"You're a liar if you say you're not totally in love with me," Brendon said, putting a hand on the back of my head. "Everyone's in love with me."
"I'm not."
Brendon leaned in and I didn't protest when he kissed me, a giant goofy smile still plastered across his face.
