[3rd Person Pov.]
The whole night, Joshua talked and danced with Mandy, completely ignoring Matilda. She just ate some sweets and went to bed.The next morning, the spell on (Y/N)'s hair had worn off and she carefully filed her dress with her gloves. They put everything in her trunk, which she had packed already, just in case.
At Defense Against the Dark Arts, Professor Lockheart gave everyone the whole period to chat about the night. (Y/N) talked to Hermione, Ron, and Harry.
"Last night feel like a dream!" Hermione exclaimed. "I was able to do whatever I wanted! There was this one person who I stayed with the whole night. He was so nice!"
"That's nice," (Y/N) replied.
"How was your night, Ron?"
"Perfect! This one girl was really pretty. She was like something out of a movie! We talked and stuff, but I didn't get her name. Well, her fake one," Ron replied. "What about you Harry?"
"Oh, it was nice. There was this one girl who was really nice. We danced and talked," Harry said, a dreamy look pouring into his eyes. Of course, he was talking about Mandy, because he doesn't care about the other girl he talked to. "What about you, (Y/N)?"
"It was..." (Y/N) words trailed off. She looked through her mind for the right word to put it. "nice..."
"That's all?" Hermione asked.
"Well... To put it all in summary, I met a guy. He was nice and all, but he left me about an hour later."
"That's horrible!" Hermione exclaimed, patting (Y/N)'s hands which were folded on her desk.
"Not really. There are still two more nights," (Y/N) said with a smile. "I have two more nights to talk to someone and hopefully meet someone. Like in the story with my name."
That night, (Y/N) got dressed and cast the spell to change her hair.
In the Great Hall, she talked with Mandy about the previous night and how they thought it was "amazing" or "like a dream". Matilda was ready to yell "Yeah, it was all nice, but it would've been better if you backed off Joshua and let me take him!!"
When Joshua entered the room, Matilda looks over Mandy's shoulder and locked her eyes on him. He ran a hand through his wavy hair and looked around. He was probably looking around for Mandy.
"Excuse me," Matilda said, standing up. "I... Need to use the bathroom."
Mandy nodded and Matilda strode to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror and pulls out her wand from a pocket under her skirt. She had an idea.
She changed the dress to a flowy light blue dress and her shoes to plain white ballet flats.
