"Welcome to the batch 2012 Riverwoods Reunion!" the host screamed into his microphone.

Everyone cheered as they raised their wine glasses.

"I see you all have reunited with your high school best friends," he joked as he looked around to see all of the guests chatting with their friends.

"Well," he added, "this reunion's all about catching up and having fun with your friends, so I suggest you all take a glass of wine - or two - and have the best night of your life!"

Everyone, once again, cheered as Gavin, the host, placed the microphone on its stand and walked down the steps of the stage.

"Hey!" Jennifer screamed behind Kim as she ran up to her. You could hear her heels clacking against the wooden floor of the hotel ballhall.

"You made it!" she shouted into Kim's ear causing her to flinch away from the woman. Jennifer was one of the people who organized this event and was the person who personally invited her to come.

"Yeah, hey!" Kim greeted back, hugging her. "You did an amazing job!" she screamed over the loud music, hoping Jennifer heard her properly.

"Thank you!"

The music was too loud making her feel absolutely nostalgic from the times in high school where she would party non-stop with her boyfriend.

"How are you? Married?" Jennifer had pulled her to a corner where the music was a little bit bearable. You could still feel her heart thumping to the beat, though.

"Yes," she immediately answered, showing the woman her ring, "speaking of the devil." Kim hummed, she nodded towards her husband causing Jennifer to turn and look at the person Kim was looking at.

"There you are, babe. Was looking everywhere for you." He hummed, his arms wrapping around her waist and his face instantly going straight to Kim's neck to kiss it softly.

"Hello to you, too." Kim chuckled, tilting her head back to let her husband do whatever it is that he was doing.

"Well if it isn't Niall Horan." Jennifer laughed, clapping her hands in amusement.

Niall turned his head to Jennifer, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He was horrible at remembering people, let alone their names.

Kim held his hand and motioned for Jennifer to come forward as she introduced them to each other, "Niall, this is Jennifer."

Niall raised his eyebrows as he slowly nodded, "Ah, hello."

"And Jennifer, you remember Niall, right?"

"Of course!" she laughed, hugging Niall in the process, "Who could forget the infamous Niall Horan?"

Few people turned their heads at the sound of his name, including some of his frat members.

"Hey," Jennifer spoke, "I have to go check if the food's been delivered, yeah? You two have fun." she waved, "Nice to see you again, Niall."

Niall nodded his head and offered a quick smile before it vanished and he turned his head towards Kim, "Who the fuck was that?"

Kim rolled his eyes at Niall's remark and chuckled, leaning in closer to whisper in his ear, "Just smile and wave, baby."

Niall was, and still is, the king of everything. He had everyone wrapped around his finger that he could get whatever it is that he wanted. He was the most powerful boy in all of Riverwood. He also was the leader of the biggest fraternity back in the year 2013.
