"Alright," Gavin screamed into the microphone as everyone danced around the dance floor, "this has been one hell of a night!"

Every single person screamed, it was as if they were still in High School.

"But," he continued as he motioned for the crowd to settle down, "it's time for the bit everyone has been waiting for."

The people looked around, wondering what Gavin was talking about.

"We obviously have to crown the King and Queen of the Night!"

They all nodded as they starred at Gavin when a man approached him to give him an envelope.

"I didn't know there was a coronation happening." Kim joked as she clung onto Niall's arm.

"We can all feel like we're all back in high school again, am I right?" Gavin jests.

Everybody laughed with Gavin as he joked about around the stage. He was a good host. Kim thought.

"It's now time to announce the royalties of this evening." he spoke as his face grew serious.

Everyone held onto their partners and friends, hoping they would win. It's amazing how one award can turn a person into a teenager again.

"And the Royal King and Queen of the night is none other than...." Gavin vocalized as he pulled the piece of paper out of the envelope.

"Kimberly and Niall Horan!"

Niall chuckled as everyone turned their heads towards them and started clapping.

"I mean," Gavin started, "the King and Queen are literally standing right there! Did anyone else honestly think the Royalties of Riverwoods won't be taking this award home? Come on up, you two!" he encouraged as the lads around them laughed.

Niall held Kim's hand as he gently guided her across the hotel's ballhall and up the makeshift stage.

"Hi," Kim soflty greeted Gavin as he went in for a congratulatory hug.

"Congratulations!" he commended as he hugged Kim and shook Niall's hand.

"Thanks." Niall smiled.

Two women marched up the stairs on the side of the stage, both carrying crowns and sashes.

Gavin smiled as he stepped aside and let the women place the crowns on top of the couple's heads.

"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the only royalties of Riverwood," Gavin screamed into the microphone, "King Niall and Queen Kimberly Horan."

Everyone applauded as Kim and Niall were left on the stage.

Niall wrapped his arms around Kim's waist as he whispered in her ear, "Queen Kimberly Horan, eh?" he teased, "Haven't heard that name in years, love. Where'd she go?"

"She never left, babe." Kim winked as she smiled for the cameras.

"That's my girl."
