Chapter 13 Stydia

Lydia's POV

Ok, don't freak out and don't ask weird questions. Oh shit. What if he thought this was a date because it was just us two and we were meeting up in a restaurant, I mean girls can be friends with guys without jumping onto their dicks. But stiles and I have a complicated relationship.

I check the time Stiles was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago, was he not coming. If he was getting late why couldn't he just use his werewolf-vampire speed? Maybe I should just leave and I'll text him saying I couldn't make it. I got up to leave but sit back down again because there I see him walking right up to me. Too late to leave now.

Stiles's POV

Ok, just be cool and pretend this isn't the girl you were crushing on almost your entire life in high school (at least in Beacon hills.)

I turned to the other street knowing that she hadn't brought someone from the pack. This might be awkward, I mean she knew I was a vampire-werewolf-witch hybrid but she looked at me differently than before. Last we saw each other she asked about my family (like children, wives, ect.) and I got really defensive, and maybe a little harsher than I meant but.....yeah I don't have a reason for being like that. Maybe I should just go back and say I couldn't make it.

That's when I see her, wow she she looks confident and beautiful as always. Wearing her signature bright red lipstick. I might be a little bit awkward.

"Hey, sorry I was late" I say to her as she pull me into a hug.
"It's alright I ordered for us both though" she replies as we sit down.
"Really, what did you order" I ask.
"Why don't you use werewolf-vampire super senses to guess" she replied with a cheeky smile.
"You know there are other food being cooked so I can't exactly guess ours" I say
"Still, guess" she said looking into my eyes
I inhaled deeply.
"Okay, I can smell pork and chicken but you're vegetarian so you wouldn't order that for either of us. Umm....there is sushi which I love so.... I'm guessing that's for myself ." I say I saw her face and my suspicions were confirmed.
"And for you a... hmm this is harder than I thought." I said I inhaled again except more deeply.
"I give up, there is too much food being cooked to guess what is... spaghetti, right" I said knowing I got it right.
"Yes, but you got the order switched around it spaghetti for you and sushi for myself." She said smug.
"Yeah, but I was close" I said. We looked at each other and stared deep into each other's eyes and burst out laughing 😂. Just then the food arrived it looked delicious.
"So... how's your research going at the university?"
"Oh, I've made lots of progress all of which I can't tell you because it's classified."
"Yeah but you will tell me"
"No and I know you won't compel me to" she had a smug look on her face she knew she was right.
"How's Hope" she asks generally curious and not just asking I loved this about her she would actually care about stuff.
"Wonderful, she loves doing magic-"
"What about things like maths, science and you know other subjects that are not related to magic." Lydia said cutting me off.
"Excellent, Marcel is teaching her everything she needs to know except for science." I then went into a little bit of a rant about how crazy good she is at everything and how she wants to learn more." You know they get on really well"
"Well they are technically brother and sister"
"I know but I thought they would have some problems or at least arguments like my siblings and I did."
"Well let's be thankful that they don't because look at the sibling rivalry between you guys." She paused "I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that."
"It's alright, I know what you meant.
"So, she not doing to well in science maybe I could stay over and teach her something." Lydia asked with uncertainty.
"That would be...fantastic" Stiles replied I could spend more time with you he thought.

Lydia and Stiles walked side by side down to the Mikaelson's manor talking about... well what didn't they talk about; past relationships, the pack, families and so much more

I'm sorry I haven't updated sooner I was lazy and I had writer block so I'm sorry if this is a little bit shit. Tell me if ingot any mistakes or if there is any plot holes I'll post the Sterek chapter soon I hope I'm still writing it.
