When I get home I am welcomed in the airport with open arms. Tyler and his whole family went to the airport to surprise us with a welcome home banner and greeting.
He hugs me soo tight and I smell his cologne that I missed so much while he whispers in my ear,
"you look beautiful, tan and absolutely stunning in those shorts. Are they new? oh and I missed you so much I thought I was going to die!" I snuck in a mini peck on the cheek since all of our families were watching.
"I missed you too! and thank you! My shorts are new."
We drove home together and I rested my head on his very very toned shoulder, did I mention he was a runner (aka perf body and super toned abs!) I was fast asleep by the time we got to my house, so he carried me to my bedroom and laid me down and gently kissed my forehead. I woke up for a little bit, confused of where I was. I looked around but he covered my eyes slowly with his hands and carefully laid my covers over me.
The next morning I woke up to a call from Sarah.
S: Kate!!!!!
K: Sarah!!!!
S: omg your'e finally home! and me too. I think this calls for a celebration.
K: im in but it has to be at your house
S: fine by me! tonight at 5 cya!
K: cya bye
Wow. Look at me, I get to see two of my favorite people in less than 12 hours. Too cool. I can usually get ready for sleepovers in a decent amount of time, but since I was still jet lagged, it took a bit longer than usual.
I got to her house at 4:59 on the dot, because I am never late to anything. She was waiting for me just inside the door, in the office playing the midnight sonata on the piano.
We did all of our usual sleepover stuff:
- made cookie dough
- watched netflix (psych and gossip girl)
- diy project
- make a pillow/blanket bed pile for sleeping
- truth or truth
- random gossip
- chat about dating stuff
The subject of boyfriends came up as we were transitioning to dating topics, and we chatted about how far too far is. When it comes to kissing and making out and such. We both agreed that kissing should only go as far as kissing and no further. It is something that should be enjoyed and not uncomfortable or awkward in any way. Sarah then said something that will change my views on two people for quite a long forever.
"Libby told me that Ben and his ex, Vanessa, did it," She whispered like someone was listening to us.
"Like it, it???" I whispered back.
"Yah! That's why she hates me so much now, because they had a DEEP connection," She responded.
"Oh my gosh. What the heck! But Vanessa is so sweet and nice! She would never do that!" I say raising my voice.
"Libs said that Vannesa is very small minded, she's smart but gives in really easily," She answered.
"What? thats insane! So how do you feel about that? that your boy toy has been popped?" I asked her.
"I dont know, I definetly do not like it but, I like him still. He can be really stupid but at the same time it doesnt give him free access to being like that," She said.
"That's understandable. I think if I found out that Tyler was not pure, I would cry and dump him on the spot," I said. "I could never feel good about not being his first, ya know?"
"I know"
"Well since it's almost 1:00 we should probs get to bed, so goodnight. We can conversate about this tomorrow, or later today," I said with a wink, then I realized she couldn't see me because the lights were off so I silently laughed at myself.
"Goodnight Kate. Or should I say good morning," She said. I guess she got my little joke.

I know that I would absolutely not like to date a non-v kinda guy. What do you guys think? would you date someone who wasn't pure?
