Haneul POV

"Oppa?" I said in a surprised tone that silenced the whole class. I didn't expect to see Hangyeol in here of all places and why didn't he tell me? It was actually the first time the whole class became this quiet even if we are taking tests. "Ey...looks like someone's boyfriend is invited here in our school," someone from the back of the class teased. A commotion started and our adviser just ignored continuing to manage us committee members. Hangyeol stood there with a smile and followed the teacher's orders, he just gave me that expression that said "It's nice seeing you," until the bell finally rang.

From the canteen, I and my best friends went for a walk on the field rather than cooling off on a bench. "So how did you guys meet?" Sowon asked in an interested tone, "What do you mean? He's just a close friend of mine, nothing special is happening," I mentioned munching on my special flavored kimbap that my mom gave the other day. "Wow, close friend huh? Then tell us how you guys met," Ji Hyun kept bothering me. "Fine so here it goes, It was a very simple first meeting that happened in a typical coffee shop," I started.

It was my first time performing in a coffee shop as my part time job and so far it gives off a relaxing feeling. It was the winter season where the frigidity in the air shakes my body but the warm air welcomed me. The smell of coffee was circulating around the place and vintage pictures were on the walls that also inspired me. The very first song that I was performing was 'Beautiful' of Crush, an ost from one of my favorite dramas. As I started playing the song, I was just focused on one person who I didn't even know. He was the person who performed before me having the same talent in playing the guitar. He looked charismatic in playing earlier while singing with a sweet sounding voice. Our stares didn't last long until I finished the song.

I went down the platform heading to the counter to get my salary but someone suddenly held my wrist from the back that made me stop and look back. It was him, the person that I admired with his talent in playing the guitar, "Ye..yes?" I said to him a little spaced out while he just gestured me to sit down. "Can I be your partner?" he suddenly asked while my eyes widened. I mean we just met, be your partner? "Uhh...sorry I started it the weird way so let me introduce myself first, I'm Kim Hangyeol," he said with an embarrassed expression. "I've been playing the guitar since I was really young but it seemed a bit lonely playing alone, I couldn't handle too many events or sidelines that I was invited in," he said with a grin. I chuckled, "So you're looking for a career partner huh?" For some reason, I got comfortable talking to a stranger but why not try. It's more fun to play with someone, rather than being alone, "Hmm...I'll give it a try but there's still one condition," I mentioned. "What is it," he asked.

"Promise me that we won't leave each other alone while performing," I said.

The very first song we played together was 'Give Love' by Akdong Musician, It was a nervous start but he lived up to that promise and he made me feel that I was not alone on stage. The cheerful melody kept us determined and instead of being scared, we enjoyed performing. We had a close relationship and we'd always discuss the topic that was set on the table especially since we're at the same school year.

"End of story time," I said to the two with their sad faces and right exactly the bell rang furiously, that also reminded me I had duties to do as a committee member. Returning back to the building, someone grabbed my wrist and pinned me back to the wall. Before I could even speak he covered my mouth with his hand,

"Noona~, don't you wanna have fun?"
