Kat woke up and checked her phone , yep no messages just like normal, she thought to herself . Then her apartment phone started ringing.
"hello?" .. it was Savannah "heyy Kat ! you don't work today right? right! I know you don't haha anyways lets go to the beach today and walk the boardwalk since you don't have work and I don't have classes today"
"well.... I guess thatd be okay "
"of course it will be Kat , you sound rough , we gotta get you out and get your mind off of Austin"
( Austin is Kats ex boyfriend , he broke up with her last week , because he couldn't be with someone that didn't go to college and is unsure of her future , and he didn't like her tattoos)
"Well I don't know if that's possible but its worth a try, Ill meet you there in a little "
"you better !! see ya there bye"
Kat grabbed her beach bag and changed into her swim suit and headed for the door , it took her about 5 minutes to make it to the boardwalk ...... After about 20 minutes She could see Savannah making her way up the boardwalk to where she was standing
"heyy girl ! you ready to catch some sun rays and sit pretty in suntan city!? "
when Kat looked up her makeup was running and her eyes were all puffy
"well lets go " she said and then started walking off in the direction of the beach
"whoa whoa wait a sec whats wrong?" Savannah yelled
"Just come on !" Kat yelled back
when Savannah made it down to the beach Kat was already laying on her towel with her black sunglasses on that perfectly matched her shoulder length black hair
Savannah sat down beside her " okay now what happened back there ?" .....
