"Mommy? Where's daddy?"
The night that I lost my husband, I lost myself as well. It was the pain that I never knew I'll get. And she will get.
Back when I was young, my grandmother used to tell me stories how there was this dark spirit who kept following one of our ancestors. Grandma said she was so beautiful.
But the dark spirit knew he can never be with her since she belongs to the light spirit world. She knew this could lead to war so she tried her best to stay away from the dark spirit. The dark spirit was so in love with her. He got furious when she said, "You will never have me." Then the dark spirit said, "I will put a curse on you, your family and your future children and to the coming generations. Whoever falls in love with their daughters, will suffer and die."
I usually don't believe in her stories. I always thought she made them up but when I learned the truth and witnessed my husband die, I became afraid. What will happen to my daughter?
