Yuri x Reader

You're alone in the dark. Scared. Shaking. Crying. Curled up in an ally. Listening to blasts, and screams.

"Who are they? Why are they here destroying our home?" You sob.

You cry and cry.

"My home. My family. My friends. All gone."

Hours later the chaos died down. You slowly look up. Your face wet from crying. You see nothing so you get up and walk to the end and look around. You don't see anything. But, you here rocks being knocked over. You back away and crouch. It's getting closer. You shut your eyes and try to breath quiet. It stops.

So you look up. You see black boots. Your eyes move up to see purple pants. Then a purple shirt. You move to his face. He was smiling. He had pink, cold eyes, and purple hair.

"Well, well. What do we have here?"

You tremble when you hear his voice.

"A scared girl. How did she not become a card yet? No matter." He holds up his duel disk.

"No. Please." You whisper.

But he still heard you. He stopped.

"Please. Don't. I'm begging you." You whisper again.

He tilts his head to the side a bit. He felt something. He lowers his duel disk. You look up. His smile was gone. He holds out his hand. You look at it and back to him. You move down the wall away from him. He crouches.

"You don't have to be afraid."

"You're tricking me. When my back is turned you'll turn me into a card."

"I won't."

"You lie!" You stand.

He was shocked. You start to run but something holds you back. The guy held your arm. He threw you against the wall and he pressed his back against you.

"What are....."

"Shut up if you don't want to get caught."

You do as he said. You look over his shoulder and see two people walk by. Your stomach feels like it has butterflies. You're amazed at what he's doing. You feel something. When they're gone he let's out a sigh.

"You okay?" He asks backing away.

"Y-Yeah." You stay against the wall.

He looks at the sky and back at you.

"It's getting late. We should find a place to sleep."

"What?"

"Come on." He walks into the alley.

"Don't you have to get back?"

"If I leave you might not have a chance to survive the night. I can protect you."

"Why? Why would you help me? You destroyed my home. Took my family and friends away from me."

"You....make me feel different."

That shocks you.

"For some reason....you make me feel different." You mutter.

That shocks him, after all, he destroyed your home. He holds out his hand. You look at it, then at him. He nods. You hesitantly take it.

You and him walk around, trying to find a place to sleep. You find some crates and build a wall around you both. You settle down leaning against the wall.

"You never told me your name." You say quietly.

"Yuri. You?"

"Y/n."
