First Dates

Leighs pov.

I woke up early and I left Kodie asleep in her bed. I really took what my mum said to heart. I mean if I'm gonna be with someone at least be with someone who knows me and will never lie to me and loves me. I shouldn't be afraid but I am nervous about this. I really don't want to ruin our friendship over this. I hate how people say it won't when it always does.

I went to my apartment and I got ready for class and I grabbed my book bag and keys and I drove to school. I met up with the crew in the quad. I saw Kodie and I smiled at her as I walked up to them. She pulled me into a hug and she gave me a kiss. "You left me this morning". "I know I had to go get ready for school I'm sorry". She let go of me and everyone was looking at us with wide eyes.

"What the hell? When did this happen?". Kai said looking confused. "We just started dating each other". "What happened to Carter?" Tye added. "We don't talk about her". "Sorry but this is weird" Tye said. "Guys no it won't be it will be the absolute same trust me". "Yeah this won't change the dynamic of the group". "Alright Kodie if you say so".

We started to walk to class when Kodie pulled me aside. "So I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me this evening?". "Like a date date?". "Yes a date date Leigh". "This will be our first date. What should I wear?". "Just look really nice okay". "Okay". "I'll pick you up for seven". "Okay I'll see you later then". I kissed her cheek as I went sat at my desk.

Kodies pov.

I can't believe I will be taking Leighanne on a date. You have no idea how long I've dreamed of this. I'm so excited and nervous I don't want to mess anything up.

After class I made reservations at a really nice restaurant it's really expensive you could spend a hundred dollars just on yourself. I took a nap so I wouldn't be tired on the date.
My alarm went off for five-thirty and I got up stretched and went ran the shower on my bathroom. I pulled my hair out of the ponytail and I grabbed my shampoo and conditioner out of the cabinet. I turned on my get turnt playlist on my phone and I hopped in the shower.

I took about forty minutes in the shower. I didn't want to be late so I skipped blow drying my hair to get just towel drying and brushing it into a top knot. I got dress as I was putting on my jewelry I text Leigh to tell her that I was on my way. I grabbed my keys and I walked downstairs and I saw my parents in the kitchen. "Where you going looking all nice and smelling all good". "I got a date tonight". "With who?". "I got a date with Leigh guys". "Really I'm so happy for you two I really am". "Thanks mom. I love y'all I'll see you guys later".

I drove to her apartment and I went up the elevator to her door and I used my key to open the door and I went sat on the sofa. "I'm here Leigh. Take your time we have reservations for seven-thirty". "Okay I'm almost ready I'll be out in a minute". I was scrolling through instagram on my phone. "Okay I'm ready". I hear her say as her heels clicked as she walked on the wooden floors. I looked up at her trying to fix her earring in her left ear. She looked amazing. She had this white off the shoulders ruffled top dress and it went down to a mermaid bottom with ruffles. Just Stunning!

"What? Do I look okay? Is it took fancy?". "No you look stunning just absolutely stunning". "Oh why thank you I tried. You look amazing as well and you smell good too". "Thanks love well we better get going don't want to be late".

Leighs Pov.

We were sitting at the table waiting for our food. Every time Kodie would look at me I kinda felt weird. Like I got a hot flash and butterflies. I was nervous I really was but I'm happy so far and this place is really nice. "Thanks for taking me here". "Nothing but the best for you my love". She held my hand on the table. "You don't have to be so nervous. It's just me regular old Kodie". I took a deep breath and I nodded my head at her. "This is just new to me well New to both of us". We finally got our food l and we are and talked and we talked about our futures. "You want some desert"? "Oh no Kodie please I can't eat anything else I'm full but thank you though". "Okay well I will get the bill and we can go".

She paid the bill and we were walking out when my shoulder hit someone I turned around to say sorry and it was Blaine. Craters little sister. She was standing there with a very tall man he was very handsome. "Hey Leighanne". "Hey Blaire sorry I didn't see you". "It's okay and who might this be I've think I saw you at the party but we never gotten an introduction". "Hi blaire im Kodie I'm Leighanne's girlfriend". "Well it's nice to meet you girlfriend. Let's get together soon Leighanne". "Okay yeah soon". I grabbed Kodies hand as we left.

Once we got back to my place I put on a big shirt and shorts and I took my makeup off and brushed my hair in a ponytail. "That's was kinda awkward". "Yeah I know. I wonder if she knew me and Carter broke up?". "I don't know". I sat on my bed as I looked at my Snapchat stories. "So movie night since we didn't have ours yesterday". "Yeah KO that's fine". I watched her as she changed out of her good clothes to some sweats. "Okay babe pick a movie any movie". "Moana". "Good choice Leigh I love that movie". I snuggled up under Kodie as we watched the movie. "Thank you for a wonderful date bae". "No problem Leigh your mine now and I want to show you how much you mean to me. I'm gonna show you everyday as long as I live. I love you". "I love you too". I gave her a kiss and we continued to watch Moana.
