"I'll sit in the front next to Dick, where you guys all sitting?" Charlie loaded some of the bags into the boot of the seven seater car.
"Me, Kyle and Will can sit in the back, Dan and Becca do you wanna sit in the boot seats?" Woody passed the last bag to Charlie and then walked over to where everyone was stood.
"Yeah, I'm happy with that," I smiled looking at Dan who was also smiling at me.
"Oh but I wanted to sit with Dan..." Kyle lowered his lip and made puppy dog eyes and then burst into laughter. "I'm kidding, you two lovebirds enjoy the back seats. No sucking Dan's dick though Becca..." he winked and jumped into his seat in the car.
"Kyle you're gross, plus we aren't lovebirds you weirdo," Dan rolled his eyes smiling before helping me into my seat and then getting into his.
Everyone got into the car and Dick started driving. "Only an hour drive guys! Might aswell get comfy though."
"Dibs on the aux cord!" Kyle shouted as moans echoed throughout the car.
"Kyle, no offense man, but your music sounds like an IPod breaking..." Dan complained.
"Maybe to you, but I still dibsed the aux cord," Kyle turned and winked at Dan before connecting his phone to the car speakers.
Me and Dan were sat in the boot of the car where there were no speakers, so the music wasn't really that hearable from our seats. But from what I managed to hear, Dan was right about what Kyle's music sounds like. Everyone in the seats infront of us were talking fairly loud, and Kyle was singing/rapping his heart out.
I looked out of the window next to me and admired the streets of London. People walking around in their suits on their way to work, family's walking on their way to lunch, dogs chasing eachother through the parks. I loved London. The traffic was horrendous though. I don't really remember much about where I grew up, but I remember the roads being almost empty everyday. Only once or twice were we ever stuck in traffic. The complete opposite of London!
"Becca..." Dan nudged me out of my daydream. I turned to see him smiling at me.
"Sorry, hey Dan." I smiled back at him and looked at the phone in his hand to see that he had a photo on the screen.
"I found this, the week we first met we took this." He handed me the phone and I examined the picture. Dan and I were stood together infront of a stage. He had his arm around my shoulders and I had mine lower on his body since I was remarkably shorter.
"Aw that's so cute...look at us," I giggled looking at the 17 year old versions of ourselves.
"Yeah, it really is." His voice was so soft and quiet. It was so warming to hear.
"You been doing okay recently?" Dan looked concerned as he took his phone back and slid it into his pocket.
"What do you mean?" I asked adjusting my belt so that it was on a different position on my shoulder.
"Just...you know...with the stuff you've gone through," he looked so serious and worried.
"I've been doing okay Dan, better than before, thankyou." I leant and rested my head onto his shoulder and wrapped my arm around his so that I hugged it.
"Okay, just please if you ever feel that-"
"I will Dan, thankyou" I looked up at him smiling and then rested my head back on his shoulder.
"What about you?" I knew what the answer would be but I still asked anyway.
"You don't need to worry about me, everything's under control." I couldn't see his face but I could tell just from his voice that he wasn't smiling.
"Dan, please talk to me about it and let me help..." I sat up straight and looked at him.
"Becca I'm fine," he leant towards my ear.
"Please, let's not talk about this now. Not with the other guys around, plus we're about to have such a great day! Best not to put the mood on a downer" he whispered.
"Yeah, I guess so, let's talk about it later Yeah?" I whispered back.
"I don't know... depends if-"
"AWW I SHIP IT!"
Mine and Dan's bodies both jumped as we turned to see Kyle looking at us.
"Kyle you scared the shit out of me..." I shook my head at him and then looked at Dan who seemed quite startled.
"Kyle how much of that did you hear?" Dan asked worriedly.
"Sadly, none of it, but I would have loved to hear the sweet nothings that you were whispering to your lover." Kyle winked before turning around.
"Fuck Sake, sorry about him. Ignore what he says about us two, he's delusional." Dan laughed. He was calmer now that he knew Kyle didn't hear any of it.
"Yeah..." I faked a laugh as I looked back out of the window and watched the streets.
Dan tapped my arm, I turned to look at him and he mouthed the words "we'll talk about me later, I promise" he nodded before turning and looking out the window, just like I had been doing.
