"C'mon it's easy (y/n)!"

I cannot BELIEVE I let (c/n) drag me to this stupid skating rink!! I'm gonna make a complete fool out of myself!!

You sigh and step out onto the smooth, slippery ice. Luckily for you (sarcasm) the ice was just cleaned by the Zamboni. Extra slippery. Nice.

"Don't worry I won't let you fall." (C/n) holds their hands out offering to help you balance. You hesitantly grab their hands and gasp at how warm they are, it feels..reassuring, safe.

You start to make small baby steps toward the other end of the rink, with (c/n) holding your hands.

"You're doing great!!" (C/n) praises.

You're starting to feel pretty confident with your skating now and decide to let go of (c/n)'s hands.

"Huh! This is pretty eas- wwaaahhh!" You were interrupted mid-sentence by a wad of ice sticking out of the ground, clipping your skate, tripping you.

Nothing?

You open you eyes slowly, and look up..

"(C-c/n)..?" You sigh in relief, but you're also flustered, (c/n) is carrying you, (c/n) caught you.

"I will never let you fall~" (c/n) said, while looking deep into your eyes.

The surrounding skaters were gushing over the cheesy, but heartfelt scene. Some even applaud.

You get up still wobbly, like the ice scene from Bambi, and look over to your saviour.

"Th-thank you," You can feel the heat traveling to your cheeks, and you turn away, trying to hide it. "..for catching me.."

"No problem..!" (C/n) says, helping you off the ice.

"Do you want anything to drink? Hot chocolate is on me!" (C/n) says with a wide smile on their face.

"S-sure! That'd be nice!"

You both head for the concession and order two hot chocolates.

"That..that was..beautiful..you two are not paying! It's on the house!" The lady behind the counter smiles and hands you two the hot chocolates.

"Thanks!" You both say at the same time.

You look at each other for a few seconds before cracking a smile and bursting into laughter.

The two of you find a seat up in the bleachers beside the skating rink.

(C/n) has such a cute laugh..

You don't notice, but a slight blush starts to make an appearance on your cheeks and it isn't until (c/n) speaks up, that you realize your own thought process.

"Whatcha thinking 'bout~" (c/n) says and leans in close, but not too close, there is a good couple of inches between the two of you.

"Aha!! N-nothing!! Nothing at all!! This is really good hot chocolate don't you think hahah!!" You ramble, nervously.

(C/n) just hums in response, watching you get all flustered was the cutest thing in the world to them.

Just do it already!!! Tell (c/n)!! Right. Now. !! 

"So...uhhhh...ahem...I-I..oh screw it..I love you (c/n) I-I have for a while and I'm really sorry I don't!! Ahhhhh!! I just love hanging out with you and I don't want you to think I'm gross it's just! So hard to keep all of this inside an-" (c/n) cuts you off by placing their warm soft lips atop yours, slowly and moving perfectly together, like two puzzle pieces attaching to each other.

"What was that?" (C/n) says, smirking.

"W-whaat...well...if you let me..finish I could of..uhhhhh."

"I'm..so sorry!! I didn't mean to interrupt or anything but I couldn't help myself!! You're so cute when you're nervous!!" (C/n) says, smiling innocently.

That freaking smile

"N-no!! I-it's absolutely fine!! Better than that!! I just...wait..you..you kissed me...?" You sat shocked..also slightly embarrassed.

"W-well yea! What else am I supposed to do? You know I'm not very good with words..." Now it was (c/n)'s turn to get all blushy.

"So does that mean...?"

"Yes, I (c/n) (c/l/n), love you." (c/n) says with a cute smile.

"I love you too!" You say throwing your arms around (c/n), tackling them with all the love you could muster up. When you finally let go, you rested your head on (c/n)'s shoulder. "(C/n)..?"

"Yes?"

"Please...never leave me..?"

"I will never let you fall~" (c/n) says, kissing your forehead.
