"Kat?" "Yes, Sarah." "Can we go to the park?" "Sure, hang on."
Sarah's POV
Kat and I went to the park.
Conversation between Sarah and Kat
S: Hey, Kat?
K: Yes?
S: I'm getting another surgery on July 1st.
K: What?! Again?!S: Yes, this time it's a Baclofen Pump.
K: Oh.
A/N: I have a Baclofen Pump myself.
For the those of you who don't know what a Baclofen Pump is, here is the information:
An intrathecal pump is a medical device used to deliver medications directly into the space between the spinal cord and the protective sheath surrounding the spinal cord.
Medications such as baclofen, morphine, or ziconotide may be delivered in this manner to minimize the side effects often associated with the higher doses used in oral or intravenous delivery of these drugs.
