I was woke up by the sound of my phone alarm, which it was 7:45am. Comic-Con started at 10:00am but I wanted to be ready.
I got out of bed and neatly made it, not wanting to be a rude guest. It was nice of Mark to let me stay here for the week. Even though I barely know him I think we're already great friends.
I quickly showered, got dressed in something comfortable, and walked downstairs. It was now 9:00am.
"Morning (Y/n) did you sleep well?" Signe sweetly asked making me nod. "Yeah! Thanks for letting me stay here for the week Mark.." I smiled making Mark smile back.
Him and Jack just made breakfast for everyone, so now we were all at the table eating.
"Yum! This is really good you guys!" I muffled through a mouthful of food. "Heh thanks! Are you ready for the second day of Comic-Con??" Mark asked, finishing off his food.
"Yeah! Jack and I are cosplaying as Harley and the Joker!" Signe beamed, leaning on Jacks shoulder.
"Cute!" I replied whilst smiling.
"What about you (Y/n)?" Jack asked, everyone looking at me.
"I'm going to be (Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres)! I really love the outfit." Pick one-
"Cool! I'm going to be an Assassin!" Mark chirped making me nod.
"Well speaking of which, we should get in our outfits, it's almost time to go." Jack addressed, everyone agreeing before taking care of their plates and everything.
I went to the guest room I was staying in and shut the door. I got out my outfit and slipped it on, admiring it.
When I was done with the minor details and everything, I went back downstairs to the living room and waited for everyone, Mark coming down after me.
"Wow! Nice outfit (Y/n)!" Mark complimented making me slightly blush. "Thanks! You too!"
The two of us chatted until it was finally time to go. I sat in the front with Mark, while Jack and Signe sat in the back. Since my wings were so big, I had to take them off and put them in the trunk on the way there, which was fine.
When we arrived at Comic-Con, I put my wings on and walked with the others into he building. I bought a couple pieces of fanart, so did the others.
We looked at everything for awhile until we walked outside for a break. There was a little park at the front outside the building, which there was a piano for everyone to play.
I gasped and ran over to it, wanting to play. "Play a song (Y/n)! I wanna hear you play!" Mark encouraged, making me blush and nod.
I sat on the seat and placed my hands on the keys, starting to play..
-When you finish playing-Everyone around me applauded, some people actually crying as they did so. I walked over to Mark, Jack and Signe, and they all smiled at me.
"Isn't she amazing?!" Signe fangirled making me blushing slightly. "Yeah. You did really great!!" Jack complimented whilst smiling.
"You're really great at piano (Y/n). Where'd you learn to play?" Mark asked, our eyes meeting. "I learned growing up, I fell in love with it so I continued to play new things, which got me to where I am today!" I happily said while adjusting one of my wings slightly.
Everyone nodded before we all walked back inside to finish off the Comic-Con for the day.
-The next day-
I was watching shows on Netflix on my phone, since we were done with going to Clmic-Con for the week, when there was a knock on the bedroom door. "Come in!" I yelled, sitting up. It was Mark.
"Hey! What's up?" I questioned. "Nothing really. Jack and Signe are on a date all day exploring L.A. So now it's just us two." Mark answered.
"Well I heard there's this really good café nearby.. wanna go? I just need a few minutes to look presentable." I asked, Mark's face lighting up.
"Sure! Meet you downstairs when you're done!!"
And with that I was alone to get ready.
Your outfit-
I quickly did my hair and got dressed and headed downstairs. Mark stood up from the couch and smiled. "You look nice!" Mark complimented, making me blush a little.
"Thanks! You too!"
We both walked outside and started walking, since the café wasn't too far away. We both chatted while we walked, telling jokes, stories, that kind of thing.
I felt like Mark and I were getting closer. He's a really great guy. When we reached the building, he held the door open for me while I walked in. Which I quickly thanked him.
"Hello! How may I take your order?" The girl at the counter asked me. "Yes I'll take two glazed donuts with a medium dark hot chocolate please."
"And for you sir?"
"I'll take the same thing."
Mark gave the worker the money before I could, which I wanted to pay. She gave us a little stand up card thing to put at the end of the table so someone could bring us our food.
While Mark and I waited, we continued to chat, until I got a text. It said this:
Dear (Y/n), your house has been finished and we just put the furniture in. The address is (insert address here/don't actually put an address there, only think of one) We hope you enjoy your new home in L.A.! -(Worker name)
"Mark they finished my house!" I beamed smiling. Mark frowned for a second but quickly smiled. "Really? That's great! So when will you be going back then?" He affirmed.
"I was hoping I could go back to your place, pack and then go. I need a ride though since my car is at the house..." I trailed off, I felt like I was rambling. "I can give you a ride! It's no problem!" Mark assured.
"Ok! Thanks! I'll show you around the house then in return!"
When our food came we chatted while eating, having a great time. When we finished mark three away our trash, against my will, and we left to go pack.
For some reason though Mark seemed a little sad... was it me?
