My phone buzzed and I adjusted my position in my bed so I could grab my phone comfortably. It was Robbie's mom.
2nd mom: Hey y/n. I know this is last minute but Robbie's father and I have to go to a business meeting and we have to leave Thursday morning and yes we know it's Robbie's 18th birthday and we don't want to miss is but this is a very important meeting. So anyway, I was hoping you can throw him a party? Not super big but we will give you money to buy stuff with which will definitely cover the cost and you can keep the rest for doing this for us. Please stop by and get the a pair of keys from the house tonight and I'll talk to you more about it later. Thank you xoxoxoxo
Me: Of course, I would be more than happy to do this for you!! I'll be over around 6 if that's okay, I'll talk to you later.
2nd mom: Thank you so much y/n! We'll see you at 6. You'll also get to see Stephen.
Me: Stephen? Who's Stephen?
2nd mom: Really you don't know who Stephen is? I'm surprised Robbie hasn't mentioned him to you. Stephen is Robbie's cousin. He's your age, young handsome and single :)
Me: haha I'll see you at 6

5 pm
I just got off work at the movie theater and drove home. I checked my phone and Robbie texted me as I was checking my phone.
Best friend: how was work?
Me: Boring as usual. Hey I'm coming over at 6 so I'll talk to you then.
Best friend: why? Please don't...
Me: why don't you want me over?? We're best friends. I come over all the time. Well I'm coming over anyway and if you don't like that well fuck you. Your mom wants me to come over so I'm gonna come over.
Best friend: fine, see you then

I set my phone down on my bed and grabbed a pair of black short shorts and a black crop top. I set that on my bed and walked in the bathroom and took a quick shower.
I quickly hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body and went back to my bedroom. I changed into the clothes and checked the time. It was 5:45. Perfect.
It took about 15 minutes to drive to Robbie's house anyway. I grabbed my keys and went out to my car. I can't wait to call him out for not having me meet his cousin.
I turned on the radio and blasted a few of my favorite songs before I got to his house. I pulled into the driveway and Robbie's little sister Lily came running outside. Lily is only 3 but she acts way older. Lily was Robbie's little sister.
"Y/n's here!!" she screamed as she jumped up and down.
Robbie's mom Jennifer came outside and picked her up. She smiled and waved. I parked the car and got out.
"Hey y/n thank you so much!" Jen said.
"No problem. You know me, I have nothing better to do anyways." I laughed.
"Y/n!! I missed you so much!" Lily smiled.
"Awe I missed you to!" I said walking up to both of them and hugging them.
"Lets go inside! Robbie's up in his room. Which you can hang out with him and his cousin when we are done talking." Jen said opening the door.
"Okay sure," I said.
"Lily go play with your new toys you got today." Jen said setting her down. Lily just ran out into the living room and got lost in her own little world.
"So I want you to throw Robbie a party. I know that doesn't sound like me cuz I'm over protective but it's his 18th birthday and his father and I have been hard on him lately about his future. But just be sure it gets mostly cleaned up. I have money for you, his father got payed a little extra so we have a budget of $1,000 that we are giving you and you can keep whatever is left over!" Jen said handing me an envelope filled with money.
"Of course, we have been best friends since birth and I would be honored to throw him a party. Thank you so much for letting me do this!" I smiled.
"Oh please don't thank me, we should be thanking you cuz you make Robbie so happy! Anyway, we as in Lily, Robbie's father and I are leaving Wednesday night and I told Stephen about what I'm going to have you do and he offered to help out cuz he's staying with us for awhile because he is going to college around here in LA." Jen said.
"Oh that's nice of him. This'll be my first time meeting him. I'm excited." I smiled.
"Go head and go upstairs. I want you to meet Stephen." She smirked.
I laughed and rolled my eyes at her jokingly. I walked up the stairs and towards Robbie's bedroom. I didn't even bother to knock cuz well we are best friends.
Well I expected to walk in on Robbie with his cousin but I walked in on Robbie making out with a girl on his bed. My eyes widened. They shot up and stared at me.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry." I said closing the door behind me.
I walked down the hall then bang I get knocked off my feet by their stupid bathroom door because it opens the wrong way.
"Ouch." I said laying on the floor.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" A cute guy with brown hair and blue eyes asked me while he stared down at me. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and he had a nice obvious 6-pack.
He shut the door and reached his hand down to me. I grabbed it and he pulled me up into his chest cuz he pulled hard. My hands were awkwardly on his chest.
"What the hell?" I heard a very familiar voice behind me. Robbie.
I quickly moved my hands from the guys chest and turned around.
" I see you met my cousin Stephen." Robbie said with an annoyed tone.
"Robbie, this isn't what it looks like." Stephen tried to explain.
"Sure. Like I'd believe either of you cuz and I'm sorry for saying the truth here but you both are hoes well Stephen you're a fuck boy not a hoe but y/n's a hoe."Robbie said angrily.
"Umm excuse me Robbie but don't forget that you're a fuck boy also. I just walked in on you and a random girl making out. So fuck you. And why the hell do you care if something happened between us or not anyway?" I said flipping him off.
He hesitated before he said anything. "You're my best friend and I care about you. I'm going back to my room." Robbie said.
I rolled my eyes and turned back towards Stephen.
"So you're y/n?" Stephen smirked.
"Yeah and you're Stephen?" I said smiling back.
"Yes I am. You're really pretty by the way." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me into the room across from Robbie's which I assumed was his room.
"What're you doing?" I asked sitting on his bed without asking.
"Don't worry about it. Nothing is going to happen. Now close your eyes super quick so I can change." he smiled.
