You’re just an unwanted visitor that springs up out of nowhere,
Come anytime and have no face,
You bring along sadness and isolation,
But I won’t let you protrude my mind again.
Coming at any time anywhere,
School or home; like some kind of chase,
I’m the mouse and you’re the cat dying from starvation,
I won’t slip and let you catch me again.
I just want to be at a place where I’m lighter than air,
But you drag me down when I’m near that place,
I can’t escape you no matter my frustration,
I want to feel light again.
You give me thoughts I normally wouldn’t dare
But this is getting us nowhere,
I give up and watch you smile in satisfaction.
