''maybe i should start wearing denim so you don't look at me then?'' lana flashed griffin a fake smile, secretly loving the attention she was already receiving.

winona immediately signalled the others to leave griffin and lala, she flashed her bestfriend a wink before wondering off.

''i'm guessing you missed me then?'' a childish grin fell upon griffin's lips.

''me? miss you? you're even more deluded than last year.'' she scoffed, folding her arms, unintentionally pushing her breasts up, making them more revealed from under her cami.

''i'm not deluded. i know facts.'' he adjusted the bandana on his head before shifting closer to lana.

''the fact is that you're an asshole and i have class.'' lana walked away, not wanting to head a response.

griffin let her walk. usually, he would've immediately walked with her, causing her to become even more annoyed at him. but, he decided to watch her walk away ; admiring her every move.

her jeans fit every curve perfectly, her wavy hair flowing blissfully in the wind, her legs looking as perfect as legs could.

griffin hated the fact he was so attracted to her. he thought after a year and many nights with different girls that the feel attraction to her would disappear. it didn't.

they both gave off the impression they disliked each other, and he would only act how he did to annoy her and create a reaction. it was only the first day of being back and he could already tell they both wouldn't be able to resist each other's attention.

lana wouldn't give griffin attention like he'd give her, but he could tell she wanted him as badly as he wanted her.

behind all the fake hatred was two people who craved each other. neither would fully admit it, but you can't hide it forever.

lana entered her english lit class. she sat eagerly, wondering if griffin would be in her class or not.

ten minutes had passed and he still hadn't showed up. she sat quietly, tapping her pen against the desk.

''sorry i'm late, got stuck in the office.'' griffin put on his favourite persuasive tone and a boyish grin to charm the teacher.

''sit in between lana and jake.'' the teacher ordered.

''just my luck.'' lana mumbled as the gorgeous boy made his way over.

''well, aren't you lucky.'' quiet laughter erupted from griffin. ''it's okay, not exactly my ideal seat either, sweetness.'' he leaned back in his chair, his hands going behind his head.

as he leaned back further, a red mark on his neck caught lana's eye. ''classy.'' she rolled her eyes, trying to conceal the slight jealousy she was feeling.

''just because you want to be the one to give me a hickey, doesn't mean you have the be envious towards me, babe.'' griffin lowered his hand, making direct contact with lana's thigh. he dug he fingers in, grabbing it.

quickly, lana moved his hand. ''i don't fucking like you, you egotistical asshole.'' she whispered angrily.

griffin chuckled at her. ''hate me all you want, i'm not your biggest fan either. you just hate that even though you dislike me, i can still turn you on.'' a smirk played upon his plump lips; his eyes flickering from lana's lips to her chest.

''you couldn't turn on a fucking light.'' she scoffed. her attempt to hide the fact that even his gaze was turning her on was more difficult than it seemed.

suddenly, the bell rung. everyone shuffled out of the classroom, even the teacher. lana grabbed her bag and went to exit.

before she'd finally exited the room, she was pulled back and pushed lightly against a wall.

griffin hovered above her, moving his face towards hers. tensions rising by the millisecond. his hand ran up her thigh, stopping at her waist.

griffins lips lingered near lana's. she knew she should move, but she didn't. she was trapped in his gaze.

he eagerly moved closer, until stopping. ''you left your book.'' he lifted up her copy of silver bullet, a smirk plastered across his face before leaving.

''asshole.'' lana muttered with slight anger.
