DANIELLE'S POV

I ran inside and saw Jack in a thorned cage. I gasped and loaded my bow and ran to Jack. As I stepped on the petal, it became wilted but black and stiff, but it's still strong to hold us. "Jack" I whispered, my eyes somehow teary. I saw his bruised neck and violet lips. I geld on the vine and made it wilt. The cage collapsed and some of the vines fell on Jack. "Jack. Wake up" I shook him as he lay down there motionless and frost covering the petal he's laying on. "Wake up, Jack." I said trembling as I sniffed. I turned my head around but my hand still on his shoulder. I felt a cold hand on mine and saw that it was Jack. He was smiling at me. "Thanks" he said weakly "Asshole" I jokingly smacked his arm and helped him stand up and I gave him his staff "Look, I'll unfreeze them later, but for now, we'll take care of Rose." Jack said regaining his energy as he held his staff tightly. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" I heard a witch-like sinister voice. Suddenly, Rose appeared infront of me. "Why have you been snooping around my lair?" Her voice changing into a man's. "Wha-What..?" I kinda twitched when I heard her voice. "You know, this doesn't fit for a 'lair'" I scoffed. "You fool! Do you not know who I am?!" Rose submerged into black mist and became this.. Tall man with grey pale skin.. Golden eyes, slick black hair and a long black coat. And not to mention hairless brows. "Who are you..?" I asked "Pitch!" Jack went in front of me. "Ah, well if it isn't the Guardian of Fun, Jack Frost!" Pitch put his hands behind his back neatly. The beautiful warren became a dark, cold and sinister lair. "And you might be Danielle Autumn! The so-called Spirit of Autumn." Pitch frowned as he mentioned the last sentence. I loaded and aimed my arrow immediately at his face "What do you want?" I was readying myself to shoot. "My, my. What guts you have! You're so strong and so confident for a spirit who no one believes in!" Pitch laughed "Do you even have a center? I know what your center is... Do you wanna know?" He asks rather tempting. "No, and I don't know what the fuck a center is." I said as I pulled back my bow even more "Oh, I pity you, my child. Fighting for nothing! I bet after you have defeated me, you'll go with me." He paces back and forth "We both have something in common, Autumn!" He gleely said "We both want to be believed in." He frowned as soon as he said that. "Don't listen to him, Dan. I know you're smart. You wouldn't go with him, wouldn't you?" Jack asks. I was pressured by this shit. "Just, shut up, Jack!" I snapped at him. He had this hurt expression. I wanted to say sorry, but I have no time to since Pitch's in front of me. "Will you, or will you not?" Pitch held his hand out. I looked at Jack, seeing the concern in his face. I smirked at Jack and at Pitch. I grabbed his hand and Pitch smiled. I smiled even bigger.

I twisted Pitch's wrist "GAH! FUCK!" Pitch spat and he slapped me "Danielle!!!" Jack shouted as he tried to freeze Pitch. I shot an arrow at him and he dodged it. I tried to transform.. But my shapeshifting abilities, I guess, are blocked here. I shot arrows at Pitch as I ran near the exit. "You can never escape, Autumn!" He shouted as he grabbed my neck and raised me up in the air as I grabbed on his arm. "You still don't know why I want you here? I want you here because you have the ability to control death! You think you're harmless, didn't you?! Your powers belong to mine! Fear! Everybody fears death! But then again, you don't want to join me; I have to kill you." Pitch went to the rim of the platform, ready to release his grip on my throat. I shut my eyes tightly and just waiting for it to end. "DAD, NO!!" I fluttered my eyes open to see Marshall flying down next to Pitch. "Oh, son. Not now! Dad's doing his business" As Pitch said the last word, he made his grip even tighter on my throat. "Dad, please. You don't have to do this!" Marshall pleads "Don't you DARE disrespect me, Marshall!" Pitch shouted at Marshall. Marshall flinched at his voice then he walked away. "Fine, but dad? Never go back after me." I heard the hurt in Marshall's voice. I felt Pitch loosen his grip around my throat. "S-son." I heard Pitch, there was hurt in him. I was shocked at how hurt Pitch looked. "Don't tell me..." Pitch was unable to finish his sentence "Dad, please." I heard Marshall's voice trembling.

FLASHBACK

"Hey, tiger." Marshall smiled at me as he ruffled my hair. I was shocked and I hugged him. "What are you doing here, Marsh?" I asked whilst hugging him. "Well, I heard the issue. You were gonna save Jack?" He said as I let go of him "How'd you know?" I said scrunching my eyebrows together. "Hahaha. I'm always in your dreams, Danny." He smiled and I saw him tear up. "Wh-What's wrong..?" I asked concerned. He shook his head "Kill that bitch." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "I'll be watching."

END OF FLASHBACK

He knew that "Rose" was Pitch, his dad. He wants me to kill his dad. But why? I can't do it even if Pitch is evil. Pitch is still a father. But why does Marshall want him dead...?

He turned around and I saw tears streaming down his eyes. Pitch threw me aside and ran to Marshall "I love you, son. I'm sorry if I snapped at you. You know, daddy can't help it when he says "no" to your requests. You're very special to me, son..." Marshall looked up at me and nodded signalling to do it. He signals at my necklace, and I know what to do now. I walked up behind Pitch as he was still holding his son's body. Marshall cried harder. "I love you, dad" Marshall cried "I lo--" Pitch was silenced as I placed the necklace on his nape. I was teary. I didn't want to do this. This is plain cruel. Marshall cried over his dad's unmoving body. Me and Jack went emotional too. "Let's go home, buddy." I touched his shoulder. He sniffed and he nodded. We flew back to the Workshop.

They were all in the Globe Room, "Where have you two been?!" Ella, strict as ever, asked loudly. Tooth rushed to Jack and Jack hugged back somehow awkwardly. I rolled my eyes at Ella and looked at North. North went to Ella and whispered. Ella nodded. I remembered that Marshall was there. I cleared my throat "Guys, I'd like you to meet Marshall Lee the Vampire King" I gestured at Marshall. He waved awkwardly. They all gasped. "That's Pitch's son!!" They all mumbled. "Woah, woah, woah. Guys, he helped me... Kill Pitch." I averted my gaze to the wooden floor and fiddle my feet together. They all looked at Marshall with sympathy. "We are so sorry for our rude behavior." North spoke. Marshall just nodded. "Why won't we just talk about this in the dining area, right?" North announced as he clapped his hands once. They all agreed. Marshall tugged my arm, signalling to go with him. I looked at him "You guys can go first, I'll catch up later." I said to them. "Me too, I'm not hungry, I just need a little rest." Jack said as he scratched his head. They nodded. "I'll be right there, Marsh." Marshall nodded and went with the Guardians. Me and Jack were the ones left in the room. I looked up the chandeliers and smiled at it's beautiful and unique design. "LORIE AND THE INUGAMI!!" I gasped and grabbed Jack all the way up to the balcony. As we got to the room, they're still frozen. "I'll thaw them out." Jack winked at me. I just rolled my eyes over his flirty gestures. He simply tapped his staff on them and they thawed out immediately.

"COME FIGHT ME, YOUUUU, GIRL, YOU!!!" Lorie shouted as she swung her arms around madly. "GGRAAAAWWWWWRRRRGGHHHHH" The Inugami was ready to pounce. "YO, GUYS!" I yelled at them not wanting them to accidentally jump off the balcony or whatever. They suddenly stopped. "Woah..." Lorie stood up straight as she held her head and rubbed her arms for warmth "SO COLD!!!" Lorie panicked and sneezed. "Jesus Christ, it's cold what happened??" Lorie asked while her teeth chattered. Me and Jack looked at each other and giggled. "C'mon, we'll talk about this in the dining area. There's someone new here." Jack said as he hooked his arms on me and Lorie's necks as we walk down the stairs.
