~~~~~~~~~~~~Re-Cap~~~~~~~~~~~
"So it's agreed then," Deedee cheerfully stated.The red team, Damon's team put their vests on and went off to find their base.
The purple team did the same, but first Zach pulled Cammie in for a kiss and they put their game faces on.
"This should be fun," Cammie said and they ran, hand in hand, into the glow painted sunset that was their base.
~~~~~~~~~~~Chapter 5~~~~~~~~~~~
As soon as Zach and Cammie reached their desired destination, which was a small, secluded corner that gave them the ability to see all, they immediately got comfortable."You know," Zach began, "this would be way more fun if we were playing with the others. Like Grant, Jonas-"
"We both know that if Liz and Jonas were here they would win." Cammie interrupted.
"Well, that's debatable." Zach replied.
"Of course they would. They would set up so many traps that one with one wrong move, you would have a dozen blasts of tiny paint balls shooting at you in various different places." Cammie justified.
"Are you forgetting that we are spies and we can easily dodge those traps?" Zach questioned.
"Are you forgetting that they are spies as well and they can more than easily set up undetectable traps that we wouldn't find." Cammie smartly replied.
Zach, surprisingly, stayed quiet after that.
At that moment, both spies noticed a figure trying to move swiftly through the darkness. Emphasis on trying.
The figure identified to be Damon. Zach smirked evilly as this was his chance.
But before he could aim his paintball riffle, Cammie had already pulled the trigger and shot Damon.
"What the-" Damon looked around for the one who shot him, but was obviously unable to find the source.
Shaking his head in shame, he walked back to the his base to "recharge".
Cammie silently celebrated until she turned to Zach to see him glaring at her.
Any normal person would be scared beyond reason, but Cammie just thought he looked like a pouting teddy bear.
"I was going to get him." Zach whined. Well as close to whining as he could get.
"You were too slow, so I did it for you. You're welcome." Cammie kissed his cheek and turned back to looking around.
Zach softly touched his cheek and instantly forgave his girlfriend.
"It's no fun if we just sit here the whole game. Let's at least try to enjoy ourselves." Zach suggested.
Cammie was shocked. She thought that he wanted nothing to do with these civilians. But, if he wanted to play, she would play as well.
"Alright, how about we split up and then in exactly five minutes and thirty-six second we meet back here.
"Sounds good to me." Zach replied and instantly stood up. "But if you run into Darren, Jimmy, or Idiot just call me ok?"
