Chapter 10

You peer at him cautiously "What do you mean by right now? That means that you have more shady things up your sleeve other than 'making me fall utterly in love with you'," he huffs in annoyance "I swear it's not and we're straying away from the task at hand. Have you understood what the feeling is like?," your fingers tap at the book as feel slightly offended that Kid would dare compare your feelings to some helpless maiden when your clearly a male who can stand up for himself. "Yeah, yeah some girl gets heart eyes for the man and she feels like she's floating or some crap like that...," you respond boredly as you continue to relentless tap at the cover while Kid pulls at his hair, "No, no, no... He's got it all wrong dammit why can't things ever go right?!," he 'silently' screams to himself while he paces around in circles so many times that you think that he might leave an imprint into the ground.

After what seemed like hours of watching him, he finally stopped his pacing and released his hair from his death grip Kid suddenly turned to you and walked up closer to you to where he was only he was a few steps away from you "Please make this easier on me and understand on what I'm trying to do because I really don't want to go back to step one again and make you horribly suffer like before...," you shivered at the thought of people getting killed again and being chained in that room without a thing to do. "I understand what you mean, I'm sorry about sassing you earlier because I thought it would be okay if I teased you a bit. Now I see that I was wrong and I fully understand my feelings now and what I feel towards you isn't what I would feel like with a friend nor a brother but instead a lover please forgive me for not understanding my feelings before everything had to come to this," you bow your head so he couldn't see your eyes and make it seem like you were truly sorry when in reality you just spouted the biggest lie that you have ever told in your entire life but you wanted all the horrible things that have happened to go away, so you were willing risking that fact that you had to 'love' this psychotic person.

A few moments after your 'confession' Kid places a hand underneath your chin and lifts up your head so that you two were making eye-contact as he obviously observes your eyes to make sure that you weren't lying. You did your ever best to feign honesty even though you were appalled by what was going on, he broke eye-contact deeming that you were telling the truth with a bright smile on his face "I'm happy that we finally got over that stupid barrier that was holding us back. Now we can be actually happy and I'll make sure you get the royal treatment that you deserve," you give a fake smile back and nod your head to make it seem like your excited when actually you were dreading every horrid second that was passing.
