Greetings

We all introduced ourselves. Fred finally rejoined the circle and shook hands with me - little did I know he'd send a shockwave through my arm. Molly had informed me that the twins were pranksters, and would try to pull shenanigans whenever they could. But the only bad thing about the greetings was the horrific question: "Why are you alone?"

"I was doodling and my mom - she was cooking. Dad was upstairs, and Annabelle - she's my sister - she was doing her homework....then...then....."

My vision was a blur. My eyes drifted off into space. I forgot how to stand. I nearly fell back onto the ground but Molly grasped my hand and held me up. My vision regrouped. My eyes jerked back and I started sweating and trembling. My legs shook as I stood myself up. I gripped Molly's hand even tighter than she did mine. She whispered, "What happened?" in such a caressing tone that I almost felt like she was my mum. "A woman got them....."

Molly's expression went blank. "Oh....."

"Not Anna, my parents...we escaped...the forest....Anna...."

I could feel the sweat beading on my scalp. I looked up at the twins. Fred was looking at me, but as soon as I stole a glance at him, his eyes flicked away quickly. George saw his sudden movement and surveyed him closely. He nudged Fred's forearm and I could see that his ears were starting to go pink. Fred gave a look to his twin that was the kind of face a friend would make if they were trying to stop you from talking. I glimpsed at him, but I couldn't see well because tears were starting to well up in my eyes and my vision was blurred. "Annabelle got kidnapped," I sputtered. "By the same woman that murdered my parents. And her friend."

Arthur had a look of curiousness and pity on his face, and so did the twins. Ginny got frightened and clung to Molly, while Ron just stared into space, his mouth gaping open. Arthur bent down and asked in a gentle tone, "Do you know their names?"

I sighed in resentment. What was it - Felix and Beatrix? No, that couldn't be it....

Aha!

Fenrir and Bellatrix!

"Bellatrix - the woman - and the man Fenrir...he was odd..."

"What was odd about him, honey?" Molly asked, rubbing the arm of Ginny with her hand.

"Well, he was awfully hairy."

The twins grinned. George raised an eyebrow.

"And he had a strange accent, Australian, maybe, Cockney..."

Arthur didn't need me to say the second unusual thing to know who he was. He and Molly exchanged looks. "A werewolf," she said, and while she said it, she covered Ginny's ears and Arthur covered Ron's so they wouldn't get frightened.

Unbelievable.

Another weird thing about these people. First broomsticks, now werewolves? What's up with these people?

"W-werewolf?" I didn't believe in them, but I was starting to trust this family. Maybe these things were real after all.
