The Mating Games

Chapter 4

  ~Chloe's pov~
Today is the day of the games and I am super excited, the games do not start until 10 p.m.
"we need to pack our belongings up" Samantha stated
"after that we should go sightseeing" Annemarie stated
"Yeah" Zoë said throwing her belongings into her suitcase. After we were done packing we headed out to go sightseeing, we had visited so many places and took a lot of pictures we had so much fun.
"so where will our stuff go" Zoë asked she had always been curious as a kitten
"A limo will pick us up and drop us off, the assign us room numbers, before the chasing part we go to our rooms to switch out the girls go first then boys" I explained while catching my breath
"how will we know our room numbers" Annemarie asked she also very curious before I could reply Sam beat me too it
"they stamp mark the palm of our hands and the number is so small no one will see it we are also on different halls from the boys" Samantha stated
"That is a smart idea" Zoë stated
~third person~
The girls continued to enjoy sightseeing and had lots of fun. Night came around and headed off to the banquet. They were nervous and excited
"there are a lot of people here" Zoë said while looking around
"yeah" Annemarie said
"I like all the dresses" Chloe said she was so excited. The girls were having the fun and chatting with other girls around the banquet. Then a voice could be heard
"Hello everyone I see you are enjoying yourselves, we are going to bring the males in to start the socializing process. So, ladies please do not be nervous" one of the council members said. Some of the girls were checking their makeup and fixing themselves to look good. While the girls (Sam, Chloe, Zoë, Annemarie) just chatted away not caring it is a masquerade party after all they can't see you
"now please bring out the males" the member shouted while looking towards a door that was opening. The room started pouring in with males the girls were still chatting amongst themselves when 4 males walked up to them.
~earlier with the boys (Cole's pov) ~
Today was the day of the games and all of us was were excited because we already had a partial run in with them.
"I am soooooo bored" Asher stated while rolling on the bed
"me too" Zane agreed
"want to go sightseeing" fane asked all of us
"yes, I want to buy her a gift" ash stated his mood changes instantly
"let's go" I said while grabbing my wallet. We headed out to go sightseeing we took many pictures; we had stopped at local shops and got gifts for our mates we had so much fun. Before we knew it, it was already night time and we were making our way to the banquet.
~third person~
The boys had arrived at the banquet and an instant the caught their mates scent
"I can't wait to meet her" Asher exclaimed excitedly
"they need to hurry up and open the door" fane said he wants to hold his mate so bad
"they are pissing me off" Zane said his anger coming out. The males had to wait ten more minutes before the doors opened for them to come out, right away the boys went looking for their mates
"Over there" fane said getting the boys attention. The boys immediately went over to the girls
"want to dance?" fane asked breaking the girl's conversation
"sure" Samantha said taking his hand and heading off to the dance floor, while the others went off to a different part of the banquet hall. (none of the couple's no each other name because they can't tell each other name until the chasing part is over)
~with Annemarie & Asher~
The two were on the dance floor enjoying each other when Asher broke the silence
"where are you from?" Asher asked
"I am from Houston Texas" Annemarie said while not looking at him in the face, she was nervous because she was an alpha and her an omega also because of the harsh comments she had been subjected to
"you look sad" Asher said he could read her face expressions. Annemarie did not say anything
"I don't care that you are an omega, I love you because of who you are, not your position" Asher stated cheering Annemarie up
"thank you" Annemarie said while smiling
"you look better when you are smiling, oma pikku prinsessa" Asher said holding Annemarie tighter
"what does that mean" Annemarie asked tilting her head in confusion
"you are so cute; it means my little princess" Asher stated. They continued to enjoy each other
~with Cole and Chloe~
They were enjoying each other and making light conversation
"what pack are you from" Cole asked
"the mystic shadow pack" Chloe replied nervously
"no need to be nervous, mit summende fugl" Cole said being flirtatious
"you are such a sweetheart for cheering me up" Chloe teased
"you welcome lovely" Cole said also teasing Chloe
"you said something that I couldn't understand" Chloe said
"oh you mean mit summende fugl" Cole stated
"yeah what does that mean" Chloe asked
"it means my hummingbird "Cole said in Chloe's ear
"You are such a tease" Chloe stated, they continued to have a fun time
~ with Zane and Zoë~
They had a good conversation going, they were talking about all the games they played and should play
"Where are you from "Zane asked
"I am from Texas" Zoë replied
"I am from Denmark" Zane stated
"I had been there once, it's really beautiful" Zoë stated
"not as beautiful as you, min lille blomst" Zane replied
"what does that mean" Zoë asked her curiosity getting the best of her
"you are curious as a kitten, it means my little flower" Zane said, Zoë blushed at the comment
"you are such a dork" Zoë said her voice cracked
"are you blushing" Zane teased
"s-shut up" Zoë said while leaning into his chest so he couldn't see her blushing. Zane didn't care he took that chance to hold her tighter and not let her go
~ with fane and Samantha~
They were enjoying themselves and found out a lot about each other
"you look so cute min elskede" fane said right as he said that Samantha head shot up
"you sound like that guy in my dream "Samantha said, immediately it got fane's attention because he remembered someone calling out to him
"it's you" fane said enough for Samantha to hear
"I am so glad I found you" fane said while pulling Samantha closer to him
"me too" Samantha muffled in fane's chest while tightening her arms around fane
All the couples were enjoying the night and couldn't wait for the chase to see each other face to face.
