A Day to Remember

"Ok you guys so today is the Day of the Dead." I started. "The Day of the Dead is the time where we celebrate with the ones who aren't with us anymore." I continued. "So can you guys make something for my father and mother?" I asked. They all nodded and chirped. "Thank you so much!" I exclaimed. I then sadly looked down. Greninja stood up and walked up to me. "Grenin.....greninja." He tried to cheer me up. "I'm sorry Greninja......I just really miss them." I told him. Greninja hugged me tightly in his arms. "You were my Birthday Present remember?" I then giggled at the memory. "Nin." Greninja chuckled a bit. "You are the most greatest present I've ever got from them." I said. "Greninja ~" He soothingly whispered. "I love you Greninja." I sweetly beamed at him. "Ninja ja." Greninja nodded as he took me by my arm and lead me to the backyard. "Huh?" Greninja.......where are we going?" I asked. Greninja then pointed to the garage. "Ugh?" I wondered and went to open it. "What do you wanna show me Greninja?" I questioned it. "Nin." He pointed at the top of a shelf. I was still baffled but climbed up. I then slipped off and fell. But when I opened my eyes. I was in Greninja's arms. I blushed in embarrassment.
"S -Sorry Greninja." I stuttered. "Ninja." He replied with a smile. Greninja then climbed up for me and got three photog albums and gave them to me. "Hey........these are our photo albums.......I forgot about those." I said. "Are you trying to give me an idea Greninja?" I once again questioned. He nodded. "Hmmm.......oh!" I all of a sudden exclaimed and ran back to the kitchen. (Go my sweet flower.......I am really happy that your parents chose me as your gift. I'm lucky that I got a girl that is beautiful, sweet, kind, generous, helpful, joyful, happy, funny, cute, and brave as you.) Greninja thought and followed me back into the house.
Greninja's P.O.V
"I know how much all holidays mean to you without your parents....." Greninja sadly said to himself. "So Greninja, I was thinking maybe making my parent's favorite food to eat, decorating it with flowers and put one of our family photo's together." Ashley suggested. I nodded as I smiled at her great fully. "Would you mind helping me Greninja?" She asked. "Yes I would love too sweetheart." I replied. "Hooray!!" She exclaimed and gave me a big hug. I blushed deeply of the sudden movement but hugged her back. (Hmmm.....what would her parents think of Ashley and I being a.........couple........would they get mad?) I wondered worriedly. I then snapped out of my thoughts and helped my trainer. It was fun. All of us were having so much fun decorating cards, making food for them, and so on.
"And done!" Ashley exclaimed as she admired all the decorating. "Thanks so much you guys!" She beamed happily. We all smiled at her and told her that it wasn't a fuss. "Now let's go to the graveyard before it gets too crowded." She told us. We all agreed and walked to the graveyard that was about two blocks away from us.
When we all got there, we all were standing in a circle. "This is for you..... Mama.....Papa....." She stated and smiled slyly. I then looked at her in despair, I can sense right away that she wanted to cry. I then broke the circle and went to cuddle her. She then had a big meltdown.
"Mama!! Papa!!" She sobbed as she cried on my chest. I held her tightly in my arms as the rest started to cry softly. The rest of the pokémon and I didn't like seeing her this way. It breaks our hearts seeing her get hurt. "It's ok.....it's ok Ashley my love.......I'm here.....I've got you....." I comfort her as I stroke her hair. She then stopped in a few minutes and looked up to me. "I'm sorry.......I really am......." She looked down as few more tears came down her cheeks. I just shook my head and lifted her chin. She looked at me confused. I then kissed her passionately on her sweet, soft lips. She blushed lightly as she wrapped her arms my neck and I around her waist. I let go in a few more seconds so she could breathe. "Greninja......" She lightly blushed and looked down with a sly smile on her face. I smiled at her and reached for her shoulders. "I love you." I stated. "I love you too...." She replied. "You're my frog prince." She added. I smiled at her sweetly. "And you are my beautiful fearless princess." I giggled a bit and gave her one more soft kiss. I then held her a piece of paper I got from the garage. "Huh?" She wandered and opened it up. She gasped as she began to tear up again.
Flashback ~
Ashley's P.O.V
"Mommy! Mommy! Daddy! Daddy!!"
I shouted out as I came rushing towards them with Froakie following along. My mom giggles. "What is it dear?" Mom asks. "Yeah, what's all the screaming?" Dad asked as well while laughing. "Froakie and I wrote a song for you!" I exclaimed, holding a piece of paper in my hands. "Well then let's here it!" Dad smiled. "Ok!" I beamed.
🎶Mommy, Daddy, you always take care off us. You always help us when we need you.
Mommy, Daddy, you help us heal our wounds that we've have gotten. You always help us get our feet back on the ground.
Mommy, Daddy, We love you very much. You always do good deeds for us, and we'll always love you until the very end....

I finished. "Oh my sweeties come here!" Mommy shouts out as she begins to cry softly. "I love you both two." Mommy adds. "Me too." Dad agrees and joins the group hug. "Thanks so much for helping me Froakie!" I whispered as I kissed his head. He blushed shyly and beams. "Froakie!!" He exclaims loudly as he jumps up high as mommy, daddy, and I laughed. End of Flashback ~
"Oh....Greninja......I.......I..." I said as I looked at his pink orbs as he looked on my hazel brown ones. I then gave him a big hug. "Grenin." Greninja nods. I knew what he meant. I nodded and began to sing. The rest of them smiled softly as tears fell down their eyes. (Ashley......it's ok.....I miss them too) Greninja thought as he wiped a tear from his face. We all there stood there for awhile and prepared to go home. "Goodnight Mommy......Daddy." I smiled as I walked forward. Greninja stood behind and looked at the gifts. He smiled slyly and started to walk slowly.
Greninja's P.O.V
I then heard a nice and quickly turned around to see two familiar spirits. It was Ashley's parents. I looked at them with my eyes widened. "Thank you." Her mom says as she smiles great fully. "Both have grown so much, and grew to love each other more than just friends.....please take care of her......and cherish her and love her." Her dad spoke as he beams. I bowed, like if I was ready to fight in the martial arts. "Tell our daughter that thank you for the gifts and that we love her so much." Her mother adds. "Yes, and your welcome, also don't worry I'll respect your daughter with love and care." I assured. "Thank you so much! We love both of you!" Her mother exclaims as she starts waving. I waved back as they both disappeared. Sad moments fill the air as the journey CONTINUES......
