Malia's pov

I woke up to the alarm booming through my room. I tried to reach and turned it off but instead I fell on the floor with a loud thud. I groaned and I got up and turned off the alarm. Hi my name is Malia Parks. I'm 17 years old and I live alone. Crazy right? Well that's honestly my life ever since I was 10. I lost my parents when I was 10. Rogues killed them. We were driving home and rogues stopped us. We sped off close to town as we could and my dad ran with me in his arms as they killed my mom. We got to this warehouse that was abandoned and my dad hid me where no one could find me not even them. After that I spent the day in that spot waiting for my dad to get me. When I finally got out I saw his dead body ripped apart. Scars a 10 year old forever. After that I lived on the streets. It was hard but I managed. My first shift was horrible I was in so much pain. My parents weren't there I had no brothers or sisters or anything. My parents were the alpha and the Luna of our pack. Your probably asking well why didn't I go back? Well I tried. I tried for years but I never found my way back so I just gave up after five years of looking. When I was 16 I got my own job and started my own life. When I saved up enough money I bought a small place and lived in it ever since. I live in secret among the humans. I go to school with the humans and live a normal life.
