Morgan broke out into tears, "Mom has some news to tell you" she said as she ran up stairs muttering something about not wanting to hear it again. My mother told me to take a seat. I went through all of the things my mother could have told me but this, this never crossed my mind! As she began speaking my lips quivered, about to break into tears I noticed my mother was acting very queer. She got up and was walking very funny, as if she was drunk. "Your father cheated on us with...Myles.....Kyle's mother", she said slurring her words together. I asked my mom if she was ok, knowing she wasn't because she would never drink. At least not in front of us and she would never get drunk! That night I didn't cry, I didn't question why my father would do such a thing. All I did that night was dream. I dreamt of a nice warm sunny place where there was no rules and everyone loved me. I dreamt of a mansion is the mountains or a summer lake house with a yacht. I..... just dreamt...!

I woke up this morning to a loud downpour. The skies grey and the street filled with water. How long was I sleep? My clock read 6:47 a.m.. Since today was Monday I have to go to school. I dragged myself out of bed to my bathroom. I washed my face and went to wake up Morgan. We both walked down stairs to make breakfast. I just made some cereal because I woke up late and was in a rush! I ran back upstairs when I finished. I brushed my teeth and brushed my hair back in one. I just threw on some flared jeans pants with a wringer tee that said Hawaii and had flowers and a beach. I grabbed my backpack went into my mothers room to find her gone. I ran into her bathroom and Morgans room but nothing. She was nowhere to be found. I asked Morgan but she had no idea so we grabbed our rain coats and umbrellas and headed out the door to the my car. Which had an empty tank so we just barely caught the late bus. When we arrived to school I went to my locker where I saw Rya and Kyle walking towards me. I was about to say hi when I remembered what happened last Saturday! I grabbed my books turned the other way and went to my home room.
