I blink my sleepy eyes as sun hits them. Yawning, I notice that beside me, Harry's sleeping figure resides. I sigh contently at the events of last night and giggle because it's all too good to be true. It must have been too loud though because Harry shuffles and rolls onto his side as he slowly awakens.
"Morning sunshine" I say quietly to him.
"Good morning to you" He says, voice dripping with sleep.
Then he pulls me closer to him, and I settle my head in his neck. "I would kiss you, but I haven't brushed my teeth yet."
"Well let's go then." he laughs, pulling the both of us to the bathroom. We pass by Harry's bedroom, and as he stops to clean up a bit I do my business and brush my teeth.
Once we've finished cleaning the room up as well as a quite heated makeout session, we rest tangled together on the couch.
"I can't even put into words how happy I am." Harry says to me.
I smile at him. "Neither can I."
"No, you don't get it. I was miserable. I cried myself to sleep almost every single night and all I wanted to do was talk to you. The worst part was that you were here, physically, but it wasn't nearly the same at all. Your eyes were still blue and you liked the same things and used the same phrases but i-it just wasn't you. And now that you're back it just feels so... surreal. It got to the point that I didn't think you were going to come back. And then you started asking questions about us and then I kissed you and everything got confusing because I didn't know if I wanted to be with you like that, or if I could handle you not knowing all that we went through." He pauses for a moment, searching my eyes.
"And in the end, that's what it came down to. It had to be all of you or none at all. It hurt too much... you not knowing. So I started distancing myself from you but then you confronted me and I came out and it all was just so much to deal with. Especially since I didn't have my best friend to talk to. So when I say I miss you, know that I mean it. Like really fucking mean it."
I don't hesitate as I lean in to kiss him. It wasn't like the rough kisses of last night, or the giddy ones of this morning, but slow and tender, just to show him that I was here, here for him.
"I love you so much. And I can promise you that I'm not going anywhere." I tell him.
He smiles, but it soon fades into a smirk.
"Hey, did you tell the boys you got your memory back?" He asks me. "Because I think I have a good plan as for how to."
*******
Two hours later, we call the boys and tell them to come over, putting our plan into action.
"So why did you invite us over?" Zayn says as he hangs his jacket on the hook by the door.
"We haven't seen you guys in like a week! We can't miss our friends?" Harry asks.
"We just thought you guys would want some alone time, to you know... erm hang out." Niall says, receiving a light hit from Liam.
"Nah me and Louis are great as ever. Right Lou?" He walks over to me and slings his arm around my shoulder. "Course Harold. Best buds forever!" I then kiss his cheek.
"Well it's great to see you guys so.. close." Zayn says, shocked, since we weren't even really coming within three feet of each other last week.
"Are you kidding? Harry and I are so close. He's my platonic best friend! Watch." I tell them. Then I look at Harry, smirking a bit and lean in to kiss him promptly on the mouth. He moans dramatically, and pulls me onto his lap, so that I'm straddling him. He smiles as I slip my tongue into his mouth very obviously. We swirl our tongues around each other for a minute, until I pull back a bit, breaking the kiss and pecking his lips once, sitting back in my original seat, that isn't Harry's lap.
