-7 month later-

I pull into the school parking lot to see Kim and Jesse waiting for me. I park and step out of my Chevrolet Trailblazer.

"KOTA!" She pulls me into a hug, "Sorry last night my phone was dead. You should have just came over. I don't have a problem comforting my seven month pregnant bff!" She whispered the last part.

I pull back with tears in my eyes smiling, "I know I can always count on you. I was just having another one of those hormonal moments." I laugh lightly. "I'm going to go to class see ya." "Ok Love you Kota text me if you need me." "Ok bye." "Bye lovely."

I walk in class and sit in the back. Thank goodness my pregnacy isn't noticeable. I start doodling on my notebook. I hear a noise and look beside me and notice Dante smiling at me. I smile back blushing and look away sad. Mr. Goldberg walks and tells us to get out Romeo & Juliet and read chapter 4 to chapter 10. I pull my book out and start reading. I look over and see Dante smiling at his book and look over at me.

I quickly look back at my book and pull out my iPod and put in my earphones and click on Happily Ever After by Haley Rose.

At the end of the song I was silently sobbing. Hiding my face with my hair. I see the wet spots on my book and sniffle. I wipe the tears away from my face. I continue reading while listening to the song on repeat. I finish reading the chapters and close my book. I pull my earphones out and put my iPod away and sniffle.

"Lakota are you OK?" I melt hearing the most angelic ever. I look over and made a mistake looking in his concerned eyes. I nod and look away. I fight back the tears and close my eyes taking deep breaths. " You sure you look like you've been crying." I shake my head and whisper not trusting my voice, " I'm fine."

The bell rings and I start walking out and feel a hand grab my arm I look back to see Dante. "Lakota what's really wrong?" Tears start forming in my eyes, "You don't want to know." My voice shakes and his eyes soften and begs lightly, "Lakota please tell me. I want to help." I look down and tears fall as I whisper, "But you can't. You wont understand." He lightly pulls my face up, " Please I want to try to help." I look at him, "I'm pregnant and I'm sure the father won't except me or my baby boy. Plus I don't want to ruin his reputation. He don't know anything happened because we were both drunk and I woke up and left before he woke."

I he looks at me shocked and whispers, "Who's the father." I look away, "I can't tell you." My voice cracks nd I turn and walk away crying and call Kim. "Hello lovely." I sniffle. "Kota are you ok." I whisper, "No. I'm going to go home early." She sighs, "Ok love I'll stop by after school. Got to go bye." "Ok bye." I whisper and get into my car and go home and lay in bed the rest of the night. Thinking why does life have to be so cruel to me.
