One Drunk Night Stand

   My head was pounding. I wince when I hear a loud beeping noise. I feel a warm hand in mine. Lightly squeezing it I hear shuffling, "Lakota love..are you awake?"

    I slowly open my eyes and see the love of my life, "Dante?" My voice croak barely a whisper. I wince at the dryness of my throat. "Oh Kota I thought I lost you," He hugs me close and peppers kisses all over my face before he finally met my lips with love and passion.

   He pulls away. His eyes watery, "Don't you dare do that to me again!" He says trying to look serious while fighting a smile. I smile, "I would love some water please." My voice coaks again from the dryness and I wince from the uncomfortable feeling.

    "Oh yes love! Sorry here's water," He hands me the water. I take it and start chugging the water feeling the dryness go away. I smile and hand him the cup back. My smile drops and I fill with worry.

   "Where is Vergil? Where's my baby?" I ask a little panicky. "Love calm down. He's at the end of the bed in his little bed. You want to hold him?" I nod eagerly. He chuckles and picks him up and hands him to me. He opens his eyes and looks at me. I gasp. Dante smiles, "He has my mothers Icy blue eyes." I smile. "I guess your mother felt the need to come from heaven and bless our angel with her innocently beautiful eyes?" I ask smiling. He chuckles, "I guess so."

    I look at him and kiss him and whisper, "Thank you for me the most wonderful gift ever." "Anything to keep my love happy." I look down a Vergil and see him asleep. Dante picks him up and puts him in his bed. He holds my hand. He presses a button and a nurse walks in, "Oh good your awake I'll get the doctor." A minute later the docter walks in, "Ah Lakota welcome back to reality. Everything is fine you may go home. Just sign here." I grab the pen and sign and he walks out.

   Dante helps me up and hands me fresh clothes. I walk into the bathroom and change. I walk out and pick Vergil up, "Lets go home!" We walk out and get into to car. He pulls out and drives towards my house. I look down into Vergils innocent blue eyes and think I can't wait to start my life with my love and new Angel.
