Chapter 1 - To California!

My alarm was set for 9am because, I mean, if I didn't I would wake up at 2pm let's be real.
I only FaceTime my best friend Tessa once a week as of her busy schedule with dance and everything else, but today was Sunday- AKA FaceTime day.
"Tessa!" I screamed "Liv!" She screamed back, but louder. "How are you babe?" She asked "I wish I could FaceTime you more often, but I'm ok, what about you?" I replied "Well, I've learnt a new routine." She said, grinning "Ok, but before you carry on" I said... "who's that hottie in the background" I bit my lip
"Liv! It's on speaker!" She shouted at me. "Oh shit." I said laughing
"Don't worry, Chance is totally cool" she nodded her head
He walked over next to Tessa and looked into the screen at me, I looked to the side of embarrassment. He laughed, "She's cute." He said, then walking away. Tessa- who was looking at Chance as he walked out of the room then looked back at me and held her mouth wide open "AAHH!" She screamed "He totally likes you!"
"Who likes who?" Said someone with their camera out -Jake-
"Yo Jake, this is my friend Liv" she smiled at him
"Hey Liv!" He pointed the vlog camera at me
"Hey Jake." I guessed his name as that's what Tessa said.
"Oh, liv I have to go," she frowned
"Oh," I returned the frown "Bye, babe." She said "Bye, love you!" I said back
"Love you too," she said, before ending the call.

*1pm*
I was scrolling through my instagram feed, snapchat sends and YouTube comments, things like "Oh my gosh, you're so pretty!" Or "You're so good at singing." I was glad people, not just anyone, but my fans -if that's what you call them- liked what I did.
I don't go on my email often but I had received one from Jake, Tessa's friend, saying
"Hey Olivia, its Jake, I thought awhile and I think you could join team 10; and even if you don't want to, you can visit for 2 weeks to see how you like it here. I've seen your YouTube channel and instagram profile and I think it would be great to have a singer here, and even better as you're Tessa's best friend" he continued on to say "please don't tell Tessa, I would like this to be a surprise."
I thought for a while... could this really be what I want?
I would be with my best friend... but I'd be away from my family...although he did say for 2 weeks to make my decision so... I guess I will do it, I'll join team 10, for 2 weeks.
I quickly emailed jake back saying:
"Hey, Jake! I've thought about it and I'd like to see what it's like there -at the team 10 house- and I'll make my decision at the end of the 2 weeks if I'd like to stay." I then went on to say "And don't worry, I won't tell Tessa, I'll book a flight to California for as early as possible."
Now thinking of it, i should start packing.
