Chapter 6: Heat*

                                      NOLAN POV 

                                     

                                           One Week Later 

I was sitting in French class at my now assigned table with Lexi, Zack, Zayn, and Emery. I smirked to myself as I watched her shudder and a look of pain cross her face as Lexi’s hand brushed hers. It was her birthday today, and she would change into her wolf for the first time. Last week I was at her house and I explained all the things that would happen to her body. 

She would go into heat and she would want me non stop. It would cause her pain not to be with me. If she even touched someone other than me it would hurt her. And until she mated with me her body would be in a constant state of arousal and pain. If she didn’t mate with me at all, she would live an extremely hard and long existence. 

When I had told her this she was absolutely speechless. She was so adamant about me “keeping my hands out of her cookie jar”, but now she had to let me taste those delicious cookies. Unless of course she wanted to live a life full of pain. 

“Mr.Grey?” the teacher said pulling me out of my thoughts. 

“Oh, uh yes Mr.Petit?” I said. 

“Repondre a la question. Answer the question.” he replied. 

“Uh, I’m sorry… what was the quest…” 

“La response est de remplacer le a avec un accent et de changer la verbe.” Emery replied eloquently.

“Corriger, Emery. Correct.” Mr.Petit said before moving on. I stared at her before she turned to look at me with a smirk. She winked at me then turned back and began talking to Lexi. 

A few minutes later the bell rang and everyone shuffled out of class. We had one period left before the end of the day, science, and this class I had with Emery. Perfect! She walked ahead of me, trying to stay away from me. She hadn’t spoken to me or made any contact with me since the day I told her that she would go into heat. I’m guessing she was trying to make sure that she didn’t let her wolf take over and beg me to take her. I’m sure she knew that I wouldn’t pass up that offer, I smirked to myself. 

We reached the classroom at the same time, both trying to squeeze through the door. When we finally got through I saw Emery roll her eyes and smile before she walked over to her assigned seat in the back of the classroom. My seat how ever was in the very front and I was sitting next to some dweeb that was always breathing on me. I sighed before sitting down and resting my head on my hand. A few minutes passed and the teacher said that we would be partners with the person next to us for the experiment that we were conducting. Thankfully the guy that always sits next to me wasn’t here.
