My alarm went off and I got dressed for school as I walked downstairs I seen my dad who isnt doing so good, I never mentioned he has been sick really bad for 2 months now and im only praying for the best
"Dad you need something?" i said almost crying
"No Jay I'm okay just tryna make it threw the day "
"Dad I hate when you say stuff like that youll be okay I promise & I prayed I already lost mom I can't lose no one else "

I left to school with him on the back of my mind I just pray to god after I graduate me and my dad can get out of the A its to crazy, after being in my first period I skipped to second period a little happy to see Kaitlin, I walked in and seen her talking to the teacher about makeup work or whatever "Your such a school girl Kaitlin " she smiled at me and walked to her desk and sat down
"Atleast I do my work" she mummbled

School was over and I walked up to Jasmine giving her a hug holding her tightly

She pulled away from me and started walking off I couldn't lose her this time so I grabbed her hand and pulled her back to me & I held her tight she snorted & sniffed in my ear I can feel the tears as they damply wetted my white tee I didn't know what to do as I looked up I seen Kaitlin just starring and smiling at me like she knew I was doing something right
When I got home I started making dinner for me and my dad then I got a call from Kaitlin
"Wassup Kaitlin "
"Wassup Jay so I seen you and your girl yaw good now?"
"Yes we all G thanks to your advice "
"Well just call me if anything "
After we hung up I heard the smoke detector in the house come on, I smelled a sour smell and I ran downstairs to open the windows and turn off the stove i just sat back and smiled as i thought to myself bullshit aside this day has been perfect
The next day I woke up to loud cries from my dad I rushed downstairs to see what was up and he was just talking to my aunty Vicky
"I got news for you Jessika Justice" she smiled
"Auntie Vicky I told you to call me Jay"
"Look Jessika I'm taking your dad to stay with me for awhile so I can take care of him"
"Why?" I asked
"Because I am Jessika just be careful & keep the house in shape his things are already packed ill call you every now and then to check on you"
I couldn't believe what just happened I decided not to go to school that morning and call my girl over instead
