"Mmm" i groan as i hear a complete disaster downstairs. "Ugh jaxon" i stand up run downstairs. "WHAT THE HELL I'M TRYIN TO SLEEP!!"

"And we're trying to set up!" Justin, my brother's bestfriend fights back. Me and him tend to fight a lot. We're like brother and sister. "Look rat face sleep is more important!" "Rat Face?! Ha! The only one with the rat face here is you!!!" "Guys no fighting on my birthday, ok?"

"Ok" we both say in sync. I give justin the death stare then walk over to my brother and give him a peck on the cheek. "Happy birthday jax"

"Thanks lee, is natalie still sleeping?"

"Oooohhh" all the boys shout. "What's the oohing about" natalie says rubbing her eyes.

"Nothing!" Jaxon shouts " urrhm nothing" he says more calmly. "Oh i see" justin comes and places his arm on my shoulder. We look at eachother and he gives me his signature grin.

"My boy jax has a crush" he says then looks at natalie. "With you" "prrrph" she spits out her coconut water and looks at jaxon. "I-i" jaxon tries but then stops himself not knowing what to say.

"You like me back?" "I'm so sor- wait back? As in, you like me too?" "Uhm yeah but i never thought you'd like me back"

"Uh justin, lee, guys can you leave me and natalie alone?" Jaxon said and soon all of us were outside. "So what's going on today?" "What do you mean? we're holding one of the biggest skate events ever!!" Justin shouts.

"Well except the x games and shit like that" we here from behind. I turn around to be faced with oliver also known as olly. My brother's friend and my crush since birth practically. He's three years older than me though. Yet that doesn't stop him from flirting.

"Hey lee" he says ever so beautifully and adds a wink at the end making my heart melt. "H-hi olly" i stutter causing him to grin knowing what he does to me with a simple hello.

"So what's with the love birds in there. They're making out and shit" he says slouching on the brick wall next to me. "Are you ok with that?"

"I guess, i mean they deserve happiness" i shrug and start walking into the achres of land creating the massive skate park in our backyard. "Hey, lee?" Olly asks stopping us both. "Do you uhm uh do you know who's coming for today by our friends i mean?"

"Oh uh i know freddy sam and alex are coming for sure" "ok" he says walking off. Hmm that was weird.

"Wow there's a shit load of people here" i say in amazment. "and there all here for my brother?" I ask sam and olly since my bestfriend ditched me for my brother.

"Yeah, his manager put this together for him." Sam says giving me a hug from behind he's gay though but only i know. "So are you two a thing or something?" Olly asks. "Oh no!" I shout. "We're just really close" sam replies. "Oh"

"I'm gonna go get my board" i tell the guys. "Oh right she's a 'skater' " they laugh. "Shut up i'm trying to learn" "bet you a twenty your gonna fall over six times in the first ten minutes... without doing tricks" they laugh harder.

I could use some extra cash. "Deal" i say before going to get my board. I come back out and bump into a sandy blonde boy.

"Oh hey, i'm sorry dude" i say picking him up from the floor. "It's fine, the names jagger by the way"

"hi jagger i'm leeann but just call me lee" i smile. "You skate?" He says pointing at my board. "I try" i shrug.

"Let me see what you got" he smiles.
