Chapter Two: Look At Me

"Nice work everyone!" I walked to my room about to get dressed but someone knocked at my door, "who's there?" I said walking over, before I could open it, it opened slowly, Shadow! He walked inside closing the door behind him, "Yo," I glared at him, "what do you want now?" I said growling angry, "I came to pick you up. I didn't want you walking around at the middle of the night." I started getting undressed ready to change, "whatever, I bet you don't even care." I said about to slide on my dress but he grabbed me! I was pulled back into his arms, his hand was under my chin making me look at him, "Look at me..." I don't understand... What does he want from me?

"Knock it off!" I said shoving him away, I slid on my dress before walking over to my make up area, I didn't realize he was behind me before he hugged me... "...Why?" He asked, I didn't understand, that's really my question, "..." I turned to him and slapped him, "learn to back off, hold yourself together!" I snapped at him before storming out of the room, I slid on my shoes before hurrying out of the building, why... Why does he do this to me? We've slept together, it's a one night stand! It'll stay that way, I don't want to deal with anything that deals with the Hedgehog family. I continued on walking... Walking to home... I slowed down realizing it's my first time actually walking home alone... Sonic was always there to walk me to work, home... Why does... Why does this happen to me?... "..." I quickly shook my head and continued... No. I won't become sad, I won't waste my tears for an... "Amy!!" I turned around hoping that voice would be Sonic, but no. My eyes widen when I realize lights were on me, I looked over to the street seeing two lights coming my way... Shit.

"Amy!" I felt a great force tackling me, "Huh?!" I looked seeing Shadow, "snap out of it, what do you think your doing crossing the street on a green light?!" I can't breath... This is happening so fast, I slept with my ex's brother, he keeps calling me his, treats me like I'm his woman, and now he's saving me from a car that was going to hit me, is there anything else that is going to happen!?

....It started raining, "Dammit, I didn't know it was going to rain today, come on, let's go back, I'll drive you home." I stared at him, his hand that reached out to me, reminded me of Sonic's... When we first met, "...I'm fine." I spat standing up, I sighed walking away but all a sudden my view went to the ground! "HUH!?" I looked around realizing I was upside down, "W-What?" I realized I was on Shadow's shoulder, "what?! Put me down you fool!" I said lifting myself up, I was now sitting on his shoulder, "no. Come on." I struggled... But he wouldn't let go, what does he want? I went into his car puffing up my cheeks, I'm only in this stupid car cause I forced to... "Don't pout, be glad you didn't have to walk in the rain." He said starting the car... Actually, I am, I... I remember, Sonic... He acted the same way when I didn't want to walk in the rain, he picked me up and carried me in the rain taking me home, it was... "Funny..." I covered my mouth realizing what I said, I turned to look at Shadow but it seems that he didn't hear, what a relief, I stared out the window, seeing all the people passing by, I wondered... Does anyone like the rain? I don't know, but I thought I saw a glimpse of someone walking without an umbrella, wearing a lab coat at that, I looked back... No one was there, was I seeing things? I rolled my eyes and sighed sitting back into my chair, "you know, I was wondering if we could catch a movie." He asked turning the corner, "No. I'm busy." I said looking at my hands, "...Oh? How about-"

"I'm busy." I said rolling my eyes, he stopped the car, "we're here." He leaned over but I already exited out the car, I know it's rude, but as I said before, I don't want anything to do with the Hedgehog family. I went into my house closing the door behind me, "..." I slid down the door, "...UGGGH!!!" I hurried up and opened the door seeing Shadow still there, I waved over trying to get his attention but he already drove off... "Jerk..." I said sighing I turned back heading inside but, I heard a honk, I turned around seeing Shadow drive into the drive way, "Yo." He said exiting out the car, his eyes... His eyes were dark, what happened? "You okay?" I asked while he walked over to me, "yeah..." I looked over seeing blood drip from his hand, "Oh god! Hurry inside!" I said pulling him, I slammed the door behind him before running into the kitchen looking through the drawers to find something to wrap around his wound, what happened? One minute he was like a kid asking for love, now. He's like a man who's broken, I finally found some bandages and hurried over to him seeing him sitting on the couch, his hand still dripping blood.

"Stay still okay?" I said kneeling down, I pulled his sleeve up, "what? You... Your phone." It was cracked, did it break? It looked like it was smashed in pieces, some of those pieces were in his hand, "stay here! I'll grab something!" I hurried away.

[Few Minutes Later]

"Much better, what happened?" I asked looking at him, "...My brother called, I can't go home." He said sighing, "why not?" He stayed silent, I growled annoyed, "fine you can stay the night... But your sleeping on this couch." I said standing up, "I'm going to bed," I said leaving. I went straight to my room and got undressed, my dress is completely ruined I sighed tossing it on the floor, I went into bed ready to sleep... "Hey." My eyes widen, I sat up seeing Shadow at my bed, "what are you doing?!" He crawled over hovering over me, "...I can't sleep." He said, his voice more huskily... His red eyes were beautiful, they can lure any girl in... And that moment.. Everything went black.

[Morning]

I woke up feeling heavy... I groaned slightly sitting up, everything hurts, what happened last night? I looked over to my side seeing Shadow again... He's so handsome... His body was very muscular, very... No.. I covered my face pulling my kneels up, I wish it was just Sonic... I wanted to cry but nothing came out, I felt Shadow's hand touch my back rubbing it, "...It's okay." He said sighing, some reason... That really helped me... I began sobbing into my knees, I want Sonic... Sonic please... I love you...
