  Destiny's POV

___________________

"Alright Destiny, go on up." Lucas Norman tells me. I nod, and take my long steps up the stage. I take a hasty pause before I actually step on the stage, and take a deep breath. I take a quick glimpse behind, and I see my mom, step dad, dad, and my 4 siblings giving me thumbs up showing me their support. I smile at them, and then continue the dream that I've been waiting for what seems like centuries now.

I walk towards the center of the stage, and look in front of me. Instantly, my eyes become wider then expected. Who knew that so many people would be here? And who knew I had stage fright?

"What's your name sweetheart?" A sweet voice says from the judges counter. I see Carrie smiling at me but with a questionable look on her face. It goes Robin Thick from the left, Carrie next to him, Cher next to her, and the one and only, Simon Cowell on the right.

Then I remember I should answer an all time famous singer's question before observing everything about the people making my dream come true. "Destiny Polster." I say more confidently then expected. I smile at it and keep my head high.

Carrie nods with the flashy grin still on her face. "And how old are you?"

   "18."

  "Do you do anything?"

"I am a professional procrastinator." I smirk in response.

Everyone laughs (including the crowd) at my attempt to lighten the mood of the dark arena, and I feel proud of my accomplishment.

Simon takes her job and starts asking me the questions. "What are you going to be singing for us today?" He says in a very serious tone. Way to ruin my attempt, Simon.

"Uh, Move by Little Mix." I say with a smile on my face.

He leans back, and responds, "Okay, let's hear it."

I close my eyes, and count to the biggest chance of being out there, ever.

  When it comes to lovin'

  I ain't chasing you

  Ain't waiting

  I'm on a roll

You've got to let yourself go

  Oh

You know that I've been waiting for you

Don't leave me standing all by myself

'Cause I ain't looking at no one else

  Hey,

Get your back off the wall
