*Alan's pov*

Mel was finally coming back from her trip to Boston, she had gone to visit her family over there, I've missed her so much! It's crazy to think that i would actually love someone this much.

Mel had told me she had something to tell me and that it would be better to say in person, this made me so anxious!

She'll be getting here in about 4 hour so I'm going to head to the market, stock up and make  Mel her favorite food, fettuccine Alfredo. :)

*Mels pov*

Im so so excited to go back home! I'm on the plane right now and won't be landing for another 3 hours now.

I had told Alan that I have some news and I'm so excited to tell him! It's something I've been wanting to be apart of for so long and I'm just so excited! I genuinely think he will be happy!

Mel was on an Uber going home..
Alan finishing up dinner...

*knock*

"Babe! I'm home!" Mel said from the door

"Mel! Finally!! I've missed you!" Alan said and went to hug her

"I made us some dinner! Your favorite!" Alan happily said

"Awe thank you" she said and kissed Alan

...
They ate and went up to mels bedroom, they cuddled up and started talking

Mel was beyond excited to tell Alan her news.

"So what's the news you had to tell me in person babe??" Alan asked

Mel sat up and started
"So.. you know how I went to Boston for those two week??" Meals started

"Yeah, what about it??" Alan asked

"I found out something super exciting and life changing!!" Mel continued

"Are you pregnant?! Omg you're pregnant huh!!" Alan said excitingly and hugged Mel

"No babe no!" Mel laughed

"I got offered the position of general agent!!!" Mel squeak

"What?" Alan asked

"Yesss!! The time that I had gone to Boston, they had given me a ceremony and placed me as general agent!! Aren't you happy?!" Mel said

"No" Alan said

"What? Why??" Mel questioned

"I thought we were don't being agents Mel!!" Alan said upset

"I never said that! You know I love being out in the field!" Mel said

"You're not taking the position" Alan claimed

""Uh yes yes I am! In fact I already did Alan, and you're not going to stop me from continuing to be an agent" Mel said and went into her closed lab
