We leaned in. Our lips drifting towards each other's. Right before they touched I stopped and everything went blank.
Something flashed in front of me. A face. Who's face? They seemed familiar and looked at me with loving eyes. I only saw them for a second before the image flashed away. I woke up.
I saw laurance leaning over me. Seeing if I was okay. Before he could do anything I looked at him once and took off running through the forest. I ran until I made it to a clearing. The clearing. The one I woke up in a few weeks ago.
I sat down. My legs feeling heavy and tired.
The wind whistles gently past my ears and I hear the whispers back from when I first came back here.
"So, you've returned to the forest?"
"Not for long. I needed somewhere to clear my mind. Who was that?"
"Did you see something?"
"Yes, something happened right before laurance was going to kiss me. I blanked out and I saw someone's face. I didn't recognize them though,"
"Maybe you are regaining memories that have been lost? The real question is, however, do you want to remember?"Author's note:
Most of these fragments are just drafts of part of a story so they won't all seem good. Just a heads up.
