Escape

Prologue



In one blink,

Every angle changed.

In one click,
People seemed to fade.

We hid and seek,
For a safe place, not strange.

I think,
There is no way to escape.
Where a horde of zombies scattered every shed.

We fought,
Killed with blood stains on our sight.

Fear,
When a day turned to a night.

Starve,
But, find ways to survive.

Days to count,
That passed by when the sun shines bright.

"In three, two, one. Start!"

"Hi! I am Dean McVey.  A survivor for over 6 months in this apocalypse situation. I don't know if I---I mean, we will survived this hell, but, with the help of this camera along the way. You know, we just saw this on the road as we journey. And thank God it is still useful, sa ngayon..." Bumuntong hininga ako. Pinandilatan naman ako ng mata ni Cheska. It's like she's saying, hurry! The situation is different and you are no longer an artist na tinitingala ng mga fans mo'ng zombie na sa ngayon. 'Yon naman talaga ang palagi niyang sinasabi kapag nagmu-muni muni ako. I laughed at the thought. "Okay, so, yeah, if ever someone saw our clip. We'll be thankful for who you are whatever. Ha-ha So, I guess hanggang dito na lamang ako. Nasabi na nila lahat kanina, eh. Well, kanila naman 'yon." Binatukan naman ako ni Chester sabay sinigawan akong baliw. "Ches! Mamaya ka sa'kin!" Sigaw ko pabalik sa kanya at tinawanan lamang ako.

"Mr. McVey, nanga-ngawit na ako at maya maya paparating na ang mga DIE hard fans mo. So, better hurry! Any seconds, mag d-drain na ang battery nito. Sige ka." Reklamo ni Cheska. Ugh! This twins.

"Yeah. Haha So, Mom and Dad. If ever you saw this, I love you very much. I never regret that this is happening...imagine in real life apocalypse. Insanity. But, I-I am so s-sorry to disappoint you like this. I know this is not what you want for me to become...as an artist." Natigilan naman ako sa pagsasalita nang marinig kung nagpapaputok sina Chester at ang aking mga kapwa survivors. May mga zombies nang nakapasok sa pinag-stay-han namin!

Tumingin naman ako kay Cheska. And she tell me to continue dahil low bat na ito. Humarap ulit ako sa camera na hawak niya at ngumiti. "But, I will make you proud...someday." Napayuko ako sabay punas sa aking luha. "I miss you, M-mom and D-dad s-so much. L-love yo---"
