"I need to drop by Beam and Kit's apartment, I'll be right back."
P'Pha texted me and I replied with an 'okay' emoji but after a while he hasn't come back yet. It's been almost an hour now.
But I'm not getting impatient, just so you know? I'm only thinking about him while he's gone. Again, I'm not dying for him to come back, okay.
Or am I?
I keep tossing on my bed, I tried reading manga and played with my One Pice toys to wait out. I should be studying now but classes has just begun anyway and exams are light years away. I think I have more time for that later.
A knock on my door put a stop on my thoughts.
It's Ming. I don't know what happened to him after we went out for dinner.
"Where've you been?"
He didn't seem to have heard me and walked past like a zombie. He slumped down on my bed looking distraught.
Something happened, I can sense it.
"What happened? Is it P'Kit?"
"Hmmm."
"What's the problem?"
"I don't know what's going on anymore. I don't know what to feel."
"You can tell me about it."
I pulled him up by his shirt to sit up. He looks really distraught and it's causing damage to his handsome face.
"I went to his apartment. And P'Pha's also there."
"Then what happened?"
"Beam told us that he and Kit are together."
"Whaaaat?"
I yelled in surprise, so loud I think P'Pring might have heard me.
"That can't be possible."
"I know, but I'm confused."
He slumped back onto my bed.
"Maybe they're just fucking with you. You know, they're best buds."
"But they said they're together!"
He screamed in frustration.
"Kit and I even talked before that, and I thought he had feelings for me but may be I was just assuming everything?"
"Chill down Ming."
"Chill down? How am I suppose to do that? It hurts."
"This is confusing."
"You tell me.."
I really don't understand what's happening. And I don't know how to comfort Ming. I just laid my hand on his back and patted him. I feel sad for him, he looks really lost and hurt.
"It's probably karma paying back on me. I hurt somebody else because of my selfishness to go after another."
"I don't know about that.."
"I envy you with P'Pha. You two are perfect. Anyway, I have to go. Answer my call when I want to talk, okay?" he said getting up.
"Wait, where would you go?"
"I'm going to drink."
"I'll go with you."
"You wouldn't want to, I'll go with my Engineering friends. They'll scare you off."
That made me back off, remembering his friends during the competition gives me the chills. They all looked scary.
P'Pha came back right at the moment.
