The New Life

The BIG Question: Part 1

Hey guys this is my first fan fic. The general concept did come off of Pinterest, so please don't murder me. Let me know what you think of my writing I'm trying it out. I'll stop now.

It has been several months after the war with Gaea. I was sitting on my bed, when Will bursts into my room with a massive grin on his face. I nearly jumped out of my skin.

"What is with bursting in here like that?" I ask.

"Well it's just gonna be a great day and I wanted you to know!" He replied, as he plops down next to me. "You want to play Mythomagic again? It's been a long time right?"

"Yes it has been a long time, but I lost most of my cards in the underworld, and the labyrinth." I say. As will pulls something out from his pocket.

"Oh okay," he says, as he sets the wrapped package in-between us. I pick it up and turn it over in my hands, written on the outside is "To: Deathboy From: Your Sunshine" in Will's beautiful handwriting. I carefully remove the wrapping.

Once, the wrapping is on the floor of my cabin, I look wide eyed at the hand drawn images of me and all of my friends. I ask "did you draw this?"

He looks at me with an even bigger smile than before. "Yeah, I did, but you haven't even opened it up yet."

Of course I hadn't I was amazed by the amazing care that was taken in the outside. But then I open it and get even more wide eyed, if that's even possible. I gingerly pull out the stack of Mythomagic cards, but these were different, they had Will's drawings on them and then the handwriting of all my friends on their own card.

I stare at Will with complete joy, something I didn't express very often. Will just looked as happy as I was. That's when he pulled out a gold and black foil envelope the size of a single card. Something in his eyes changed. I have never seen it before.

I am gonna add to it later today or tomorrow when I'm back home. I hope you all like it.
